Dear Ms Petite,
With an applause, we bid you warm thanks for your sincere work and contribution that kept us engaged and entertained for such a long time. The journey together, you an artist and we the viewers, has been quite an experience; long lasting as well captivating for its great tenure.
Before you, Avika as child artist had made us meet and appreciate this amazing creation-Anandi. As the story turned, we parted with her age and The Artist. When you were announced,we were somewhat skeptical; how the change will work? Will she carry the legacy (a formidable one at that)?
But you showed the mettle-a seamless transition- smoothly lifting the passing baton. You opened as a happy, spirited young woman, who had barely overcome her hardships - both by her grit, as well, by kind agency of her parents in law. She was restored to her parents and was in first dawn of a youthful love. You fit the bill; bubbly and yet well grounded.
But not all was pink. Imperious shadows of 'message' had returned the saga into a grim tale and vehement scenes devoid of staple love scenes. That is were you clicked flawless. Incredulous to the alteration, hopeful, waiting and faithful to a faithless. There were bumps too. A long winding soap threw in some avoidable (or unavoidable) excesses- incredulous patience on verge of a doormat inertness. You carried them in a professional grace that made them tolerable. But then came more positive revival. After a betrayal, a triumph of spirit- innate positivity not giving in to bitter odds. True to her etching- grit and constructive-she rose. She rose leaving the misfortune and unworthy losses behind, never to return to him. You carried this phase with a chutzpah; Believing in self, a woman can rise on her own. She can jettison unworthy cargo. Even forgive in an affirmative surge forward. All these, you acted with a characteristic aplomb.
(Remembering a sweet manoeuvre; Often, an evaluating pause, then, a twitch of one eyebrow, a smile spreads and Anandi dwells on the task on hand! You so well execute them, we will miss that gentle lift of a brow.)
Hope to see your talents flourishing further with fresh opportunities and new roles, and meeting you again. So long. Farewell.
