Somehow Khushi had expected this.

Dadi had heard the part about them not being really married and now the whole family knew it

too.

Khushi could not, or rather would not tell them the real reason for the incomplete wedding, she

could not do it to her Jiji.


She understood their anger and disappointment at this, she knew that they were assuming the

worst about her. She had been prepared to face the consequences, come what may!


Her heart swelled with love as Arnavji shielded her from the wrath of the family.

She was his wife and there was no doubt about this in his mind.

The man who six months ago had told her that she means nothing to him

was asserting her right as his wife!


last night he had told her that he loved her dammit and today

He was ready for a remarriage with his wife to ensure that she gets her rightful place and status.



Khushi knew that this was the right time!

She looked at him, ready to accept what her soul had known from the moment she fallen into

his arms on the ramp that day!!

She looked at him, with her eyes openly showing what her heart had been feeling for many days now

She looked at him and her lips softly spoke the words that had been echoing in her mind since last night

And as for Arnav, he just smiled

It was the smile of a man who had come home after a long and arduous journey.
