with all due respect i don't want it to run for 7-8 years coz no matter how much they try they won't be able to sustain the freshness and novelty for too long and after sometime it would be dragged and stretched like other long running shows.so it's better to finish it in a particular timeline or they can work the way american shows work...but that's almost impossible in indian telly.

I feel they should go the American shows' wau. Run for a year as Season 1, stop at a high point. Break for 6 months. Come back with Season2, again for a limited time. 7-8 years at a stretch is boring. Audiendes would get all tired. 1000 epis is not a cakewalk. I guess SC should create a landmark on Indian tv and introduce the concept of seasons.

I don't think th show will run for that long, because the story doesn't allow it to. But I just hope it doesn't end too quickly, I hope we get a minimum if 2-3 years then I will be happy.
