Totally agreed, I do not relate to Dilshad anymore. I don't mind her mentally siding anyone. She could totally believe Rashid if she wants to, but why does it give her a right to leave her son alone and behave so harshly with him for nothing. Doesn't she understand why he is doing this? He has seen his father contact a man who was HER shooter, seen his father hide remains of a dead body and when asked Rashid had no explanation. What kind of person would trust this man? And even if he is Asad's father what has he done all life to earn any form of trust from his kids? Dilshad should remain calm and balance her support. Not behave like she can't see where Asad is coming from.

A very nice post and I actually completely agree with you which is quite sad since i really liked Dilshaad. I loved how Asad, his family and Zoya had created their own little world and were extremely happy-it made us think that they were stronger as a unit than siddiqui house but its sad to be proven wrong. Dilshad's character has changed while Asad is still the guy who loves and respects his mum, the man of the house trying to protect his family. He was incredibly sweet in the last episode by offering his help to his Ami even though it was against his beliefs but he still did it just to so that his mum does not get further upset- on the other hand it seems Dilshad wants nothing more but to make her son upset. Why did she ignore Asad when she walked in the house- does she not understand how much Asad loves her. All dilshad can see is that Rashid was part of a conspiracy that made him leave her, does she not see that if he was forced to leave her he would have acted like a devdas for 17 years rather than just the last year or so. Nope-he was busy pro-creating a family.

I understand Zoya for not supporting Asad- it was kind of expected, she's always been like that, looking at the bigger picture, not wanting family to be separated, always looking for the good in people and relying on her guy instinct- which in the method to follow she may use wrong techniques.

I even get Ayaan's point of view. He loved his family like Asad loves his and he would go to an extent to protect it. He has been with his Abu for ages and knows that he is not capable of murder, he knows that Razia is sort of playing some game and that his father his stuck. He has witnessed all this and even been part of Razia's plot with the whole engagement fiasco so of course he would go against Asad a little to protect his dad.

But Dilshad s going over-board with her sole concern for Rashid? If in those 17 years Asad had been wrongly accused and in prison would Rashid had have helped him?

Shireen may be the other woman, but when it came to choosing between her husband and Ayaan ( the epi, when ayaan wanted to leave the house and he insulted Rashid of being a coward)-we saw her struggle and in the end she fainted to make ayaan stay. I know its not the same thing but now if I imagine a similar situation all i can predict is Dilshad only looking out for Rashid- a guy who is in prison now but still doesn't want to tell the raaz, what good is it doing him to stay silent? I cant believe Im saying this but hope Razia gets hold of the doll maybe that will make Rashid behave a little braver.

Oops😲 I didnt mean to make such a long post- i just kept on writing. What can I say? I guess I feel too strongly about the whole dilshad behavioral issue.
