Zoya to Asad: 'Who am I?'

Didn't see any topic here on today's episode, and I want to off load, so here goes..

Loved the whole scene, but when Zoya said, "After all, who am I?" Man, that stung Asad!

After all, how long is Zoya going to tolerate his disdain, how long will she hear that he wants to be left alone? How long will she want to hear that he doesn't deem her worthy enough to talk? That too, after Zoya had been there as a pillar of emotional support to him just yesterday-- when his whole family wasn't. Asad had the nerve to say he doesn't want to talk to her. Finally she lashes out with a "who am I?" Finally!

And by the way, did you all notice how Asad turned red the minute Zoya said that she's going to switch sides? Janab just assumes that Zoya will side him no matter what. And he just grabbed her and absolutely forbade her to do no such thing! As if he has any right over her! Jab marzi "I don't want to talk to you" and jab marzi "don't you dare do this?" She had literally just said "After all, who am I (to you)" and he chose to ignore it. But when she threatened to go against him, he could not tolerate it and exerted on her as if she was something to him. Mr. Asad Ahmed Khan needs to wake up, and someday he needs to answer THAT question to Zoya.

Asad has alot to learn in his life...his past experiences have made him bottle up all his emotions and shut everyone out except Dilshaad and Najma

Asad should understand that when someone doesn't agree with him, doesn't mean that person is against him and I am happy that Zoe told him off today...how long will she take his crap ???
She was there for Dilshaad, for Asad for Najma, trying to be their pillar of support and this guy has the nerves to tell her what he told her...I mean he keeps telling Zoe off and expects that she will tolerate that all the time

@bold-- Actually I don't think Asad even opens up to Dilshaad and Najma fully. I mean, of course, they are more emotionally close to him than Zoya. But he doesn't share his insecurities and his fears with them. And that's a big part of emotional bonding that Asad has missed out throughout his life. I think that's because his father left them really early and Asad had to be the man of the house, which is why he learnt how to hide his emotions really early and now he's just emotionally stunted. Poor Asad, sometimes I feel sorry for the way he turned out, just sometimes though. I actually feel more sorry for Zoya, who has to deal with an emotionally stunted and volatile Asad throughout her life.

omg love how uve explained it.intense n all:)

wen she said that her eyes had tears...she gave him d look like d lover girl does..lol

they were so close.he just stared into her eyes longing to hear sumthing n she couldnt take his intensity

But, yeah, I agree.. she couldn't take his intensity. She was taken aback by his authoritative tone but more than that, she was taken aback by their closeness. He was looking at her and speaking to her so intensely, completely raptured!

I know right. But I bet he was probably hitting his head trying to beat it down that she actually means nothing to him. When we all know it's his heart that already knows that she means something to him.

today how he behaved wid her..he knew he was hurting her & after all dis he didnt even said srry...poor zoe how she's gonna live wid dis man for his whole lyf...
