Didn't see any topic here on today's episode, and I want to off load, so here goes..
Loved the whole scene, but when Zoya said, "After all, who am I?" Man, that stung Asad!
After all, how long is Zoya going to tolerate his disdain, how long will she hear that he wants to be left alone? How long will she want to hear that he doesn't deem her worthy enough to talk? That too, after Zoya had been there as a pillar of emotional support to him just yesterday-- when his whole family wasn't. Asad had the nerve to say he doesn't want to talk to her. Finally she lashes out with a "who am I?" Finally!
And by the way, did you all notice how Asad turned red the minute Zoya said that she's going to switch sides? Janab just assumes that Zoya will side him no matter what. And he just grabbed her and absolutely forbade her to do no such thing! As if he has any right over her! Jab marzi "I don't want to talk to you" and jab marzi "don't you dare do this?" She had literally just said "After all, who am I (to you)" and he chose to ignore it. But when she threatened to go against him, he could not tolerate it and exerted on her as if she was something to him. Mr. Asad Ahmed Khan needs to wake up, and someday he needs to answer THAT question to Zoya.
