Sonam and Rishi Kapoor patch up

When Sonam Kapoor, along with Deepika Padukone, made a couple of unsavoury remarks about her Saawariya co-star Ranbir Kapoor on Karan Johar's television show a couple of years ago, senior actor Rishi Kapoorhad taken umbrage.

The yesteryear legend made his displeasure evident about both the youngsters shooting their mouths off. However, there are many in the industry who made Rishi see reason. After all, these were young girls who put their foot in their mouth when they were on Karan's couch, but later felt remorse. Also, they had no malice in their hearts whatsoever. Rishi saw reason. It now comes as a pleasant surprise that Ranbir's father will play Sonam's screen father. And as luck would have it, the story of the film actually revolves around these two stars!
