TOI: Arjun to tie the knot in May

Arjun Bijlani, who is currently seen in Kaali — Ek Punaravtar, is all set to wed girlfriend Neha Swami. The two met eight years ago through common friends and started dating five years ago. Confirms Arjun, "Yes, I am getting married. Neha is a lovely girl and gels well with my family, especially my mother. Marriage is not just the coming together of two people, but of two families."

Hailing from Lucknow, the bride-to-be is actress Deepti Bhatnagar's niece. So, what attracted him to Neha? "Her simplicity. She is homely and at the same time, extremely comfortable with me at social events and parties. We hang out and party together," he says.

The actor, who is from Mumbai, feels that 30 is the right age for a guy to take the plunge. "A lot of people ask me why am I getting married. I feel this is the right age. In our culture, marriage can never be looked down upon. Every relationship undergoes changes over time, but love conquers all differences. Love has its phases, but what really counts is companionship and Neha is a great companion." The wedding, to be held in Mumbai, will be a typical Hindu affair. The engagement will also take place a little earlier. The couple are currently hunting for suitable rings.
