"Why am I so restless? I can't sleep every time I close my eyes why those beautiful doe eyes hover in my imagination that my heart agapes in wonder and awe,
I feel the pangs of my heart, yearning for a glimpse of her, and one glimpse just one glimpse. Oh god, what has happened to me? What if I won't see her again I'll die"
It has been ten days now when I saw her in shopping mall, laughing at some thing?? the most beautiful smile..Oh god! She was looking ethereal in that white dress when I saw her in moon lit night outside shopping mall. I had to literally jump over the ladder when I saw her leaving the mall, I tried to follow her but she's gone with her friend .if only I'd have been prompt in getting my car from parking I'd have followed her and ?. But now what am I going to do? If the condition of famous neuro surgeon remains like that what'll happen of my patients. Forty years of my life I've never felt like this but can't help?..I just can't help myself from remembering those enticing beautiful eyes, can't help myself from admiring her beauty. He took a deep sigh! Then as if a thought struck him he vehemently cried ?Has she! Has she really stolen my heart the very moment I looked at her? I need to see her?I desperately need to see her to know what has happened of me? The sun's bright light peeped in thru his window and he realized he has spent one more night in his state of bewilderment.

She was struck by the sight ?.A man dressed in black with grey blazers, looking stunning and handsome, walking the most perfect walk arrived from the corner of parking lot. What a demeanor???? She was watching him with all her eyes out, like a statue?her hands on the car keys in the door she was locking. The air filled with a sweet, musky scent as he walked past her. Delightful combination of woodsy aftershave, with a hint of clean perspiration It was intoxicating and she was inhaling deeply every chance she could. He entered hospital entrance and the ward boys walking at the entrance straightened themselves up, clearly indicating he was not an ordinary person or just a visitor visiting hospital. When he was out of sight nidhi's trance was broken she shook her head composed herself and hurried herself inside hospital after him to see where has he gone but by the time she reached inside he was nowhere in sight.
She walked towards receptionist, enquired something at reception and was shown way towards the hospitals administrator's room Dr. Rangnath. She knocked at the door?.and was asked to come in.
"Hello Dr. Rangnath?. Dr. Nidhi here"
"Oh welcome Dr. Nidhi the pediatrician"
Yes I've received my appointment order last month but it took me some days to wrap things up at US and here in india I'd to attend my best friends marriage so it took me so long. Nidhi the only daughter of colonel Verma got All India 13th rank in her MBBS . She has just completed her PG in Pediatrics in US. She being a topper would have got better job there but she preferred to come back to serve her people here in India. She has been appointed by KGH on the basis of merit as the KGH has a policy of hiring the best and here she is to join as the junior pediatrician at KGH.
Your immediate senior is Dr. Behl, his cabin is at second floor. Come on? Nidhi I'll introduce you to him. So my jeejaji forgot that he is at hospital. Come on What is bad in calling Sali by name, Dr.Nidhi..He opened the door 'this way please" and they left.

"Let me check is that hurting? The child was screaming with pain but he wasn't allowing Dr. Jyoti to check on him. Children's ward was Dr. Ashutosh's favourite ward and he was called on so that he can calm down the child and make him to take the medicine. Dr. Malika was looking confused at the 10 year old child who doesn't seem to be responding her line of treatment. She sent a ward boy for Dr. Behl the senior pediatrician of KGH so that he can check on the child who was by now screaming with abdomen cramps. His symptoms showed him to be a simple case of gastroenteritis but his condition was not improving.
Nidhi was thinking about that handsome man in Dr. Behl's cabin waiting for Dr. Behl who is busy with some patient in ICU. It has been three day's since Dr.Nidhi joined KGH. She didn't get the chance to meet that handsome man again. She was smiling at the thought when ward boy opened the door of Dr. Behl's cabin. Dr?.. where is Dr. Behl? He is immediately needed at children's ward. A boy is screaming with pain?Oh he is in ICU?.no poblem?problem I mean I'll check him?with that she leaves for the ward?.
"Whatz problem??? Let me check you are a strong boy.
No I'm not? I don't want injection Dr. jyoti always comes with a syringe in her hand.
Okay , so the problem is injection. It is..it is? but my stomach aaah,aaah."
"No Aushtosh I've send someone for Dr. Behl let him check we'll see what actually the problem is? "
"Okay, Malika!"
Nidhi came running, not noticing the handsome man she was dreaming about, standing on the bed side of the ailing boy but Dr. Ashutosh forgot to breathe. The object of his fascination was in front of his eyes. In body and flesh, wearing a Doctor's robe?so she is a doctor??
" Whatz problem, I mean problem? " With Nidhi's words Aushtosh's trance was broken
"What are you doing here? I called for Dr. Behl".
"Dr. Behl is busy with another patient let me check him Dr. Malika"
"He needs a specialist" now Nidhi didn't answer and went straight to the child. "what happened, young man?"
"My stomach is aching and I don't want to have this injection indicating to the injection at the side table of his bed". Nidhi checked the vitals of the boy and then had a look on the line of treatment.
"you know your teacher told me you are the very brave child in school" did she? Yes. How did you see her? Oh she is my good friend. Oh really! Whatelse did she say? Did she tell you how I ?.and the boy and Nidhi chatted for sometime and the boy was listening to her in fascination not realizing that she has injected him already" .Okay, brave boy we'll meet tomorrow this time you take the rest you'll feel better. This time you didn't call me young man to which nidhi smiled and caressed him at head and turned to freeze where she was. That handsome man was gazing her intently and she too forgot to blink. The first eye lock was broken by Dr. Behl when he uttered,
Everything Okay, Dr. Nidhi? Oh Dr. Behl! Where were you? I thought I need your opinion on this boy's line of treatment but you're busy??Oh She is the best Dr. malika. You don't know her you were on leave she is Dr. Nidhi the pediatrician who joined us three days back. She has completed her PG in US. And then he turns to Nidhi..
Dr.Behl I think this is a case of Celiac disease he is having symptoms like diarrhea, weight loss, and lack of appetite but at the same time he is having very weakened bones, iron deficiency and I think he needs to be checked on celiac disease. He must be having gluten sensitivity.
How can she? I mean? but Dr. Behl retorts I think Dr. Malika she is right the boy is having discoloration on his teeth. He needs to be checked for gluten intolerance.
By the way Dr. Nidhi meet Dr. Malika she is one of the senior surgeons at KGH and This is Dr. Ashutosh the dean and Chief of the staff at KGH and one of the best neuro surgeons of our country.
Nidhi again found him intently gazing at her but she nodded her head to say" Hello". Ashutosh replied without breaking his intent gaze, Welcome Dr. Nidhi welcome to KGH.
