Well, Onir knows that Mahan Purvi sacrificed her love for her sister so that Archana got her family back. He also knows that somewhere, even today Purvi loves Arjun. Due to which they are not consummating their marriage. If Purvi wasn't into Arjun she would live as a proper wife with Onir.
