I don't like the fact that she left her teaching thing when she got married n now that she realized that its convenient to Shiv, she's picking it up again...

a girl of great potential in civil service, social service n politics should not shortchange herself this way, especially when her in-laws are so cool..

And when did her sarpanch term end??? the law states that the term is of 5 years!!! i dont remember her resigning or taking holiday even to get married...

yeh kya baat hui? women oriented show show mein itna bada gaffe...! Romance n career dono ko equal importance dena chahiye in the current track...

if Shiv is going ahead, Anandi must too as this was what brought them together in the first place...

Women in places of power is a good social message to give, especially now that Anandi is married, it is even more important to show that it is correct to pursue your dreams...

i know its been barely two months since they got married, but its the principle of the thing- she is the sarpanch- married or not.

Now the only thing that makes sense to me is that Jaitsar has no sarpanch anymore, as it is a district- but then why was she regarded as a sarpanch till the day of her wedding...?

Comments would be great coz i love BV but this is confusing...

Actually sarpanch is not a regular job and does not require daily attending to office etc.But it looks like CVs don't consider it necessary to show the ground reality with respect to functioning of government/local self government. When Jaitsar was declared a district, the gram panchayat should have become defunct. But they did not show this and Anandi continued as sarpanch till her marriage.
If CVs want to continue the gram panchayat (even though it should have been defunct), at least they can show Anandi resigning from the post of Sarpanch. People of a particular village can become members of panchayat and post marriage, Anandi belongs to Shiv's family (Udaipur/KB). At present she is in Jaitsar because of Shiv's posting there. DC's can be transferred to any district of the State.
It is surprising that Anandi is not attending her school, but it is not a big issue. After marriage, a girl can take leave even in regular jobs, and the school is her voluntary job, perhaps it is for social service and Anandi did not take any salary for this. My personal view is that a girl should have freedom to choose. After marriage, she can choose to continue the job or even quit her job. It is OK as long as it is her own decision and it is not forced upon her by other people.

its been a month I think since their marriage. And she took leave I am sure. Now once things will settle the hethsingh drama will start and she WILL enter into politics. I am 100% sure.

CVs are known for dragging so we just have to wait and see.
