Haan Anu ... I have so much stuff recorded on my DVR that DH threatened to delete it all to create some space. 😆 That's why I have been watching at least one episode per day. I even saw "The Corpse on the Canopy" which had Pelant returning. It was a tightly paced episode. Watch it if you have a chance. Even I want that creep gone now...🤢

'Bones' First Look: Brennan gets shot! -- EXCLUSIVE PHOTO

by Sandra Gonzalez

The Feb. 11 episode of Bones is going to be a heart-stopper — but hopefully not literally.

In the episode, titled "The Shot in the Dark," Brennan (Emily Deschanel) is critically shot while working late in the Jeffersonian lab and while fighting for her life, ends up seeing visions of her dead mother (guest star Brooke Langton).

"[Brennan's] mother has been dead for many years but she ends up seeing and talking to her mother," executive producer Stephen Nathan previewed for EW earlier. "Ryan O'Neal is in that one, too, and it's a very emotional episode for them."

Can't wait for the episode? Check out an exclusive photo from it below, featuring bloody Brennan and a devastated Booth (David Boreanaz):

Woah indeed! I am sure she is not going to be dead...but the fatal shot might open up some conversation on their future...their engagement.

But on second thoughts, the episodes are randomly shown...

Saw the latest installment of Bones... the case was mehhh as ever... but I liked Bones' dialogues with her mother. Especially the last one when her mother says, "You needed to think with your brains in order to survive... but now you need to think with your heart to flourish" or something along those lines ...

Brennan's fight with Booth was mehhh. I was wondering how long would it be before Booth throws up his hands in exasperation at Brennan's scientific explanation of everything. I most definitely was! Sometimes I think the makers overdo it... Brennan's Mom's advise seems rather late...but better late than never, eh?

LOL I completely concur, LadyM...apart from those few dialogues with her mother, the epi was largely ehh...and yes it does seem like a case of too little, too late...the characters have long since lost what made them special...the fights are contrived and so are the make-up makeout sessions😆

Bingo! Their fights as well as their make-up sessions seem forced. I understand that the makers want to show everyday domestic quarrels for BnB and hence their issues are meant to be trivial. But the make-up sessions lack depth. Also, the episodes overall seem very choppy. i.e. no connection of one episode to the other...they can all be a series of independent episodes. Whatever happened to continuity? Besides, whatever happened to Booth and Brennan's marriage issue? They seem to have completely dropped it. It may crop up for season finale and that's about it! 😕

Saw this week's Bones - "The Friend in Need"...

Okay the female protagonist was nearly dead last episode and no one even mentions a "take it easy?" or what was with the reference of Michelle coming home for "Christmas" when we are no where near that date! The episodes are increasingly choppy these days. Agreed it was a Sweets-centric episode, but the continuity errors on Bones are honestly getting to me these days.

Not all all Anu - you didn't miss a thing!

Hodgins lost all his money and is a total pauper, yet neither Angie nor he bats an eyelid over it...But they have oodles of chemistry which BnB seem to have totally lost.

Brennan's demeaning Booth over her wealth or smartness is no longer endearing ... Booth had a look of pure dislike on his face. I wonder if this going to lead anywhere.

Brennan probing into Finn's sex life as well as Cam and Michelle giggling like a bunch of school girls over their respective intern lovers was just ewww...

I am just disappointed with this season overall! No character growth at all.
