HAPPY KANNADA RAJYOTSAVA!!

Happy Kannada Rajyotsava to you all! To all Kannadigas and those living in Karnataka I wish you a very happy Rajyotsava. I am sorry for the late post but I was out all morning. This year is the year of Suvarna Karnataka. Karnataka, on this day, completes 50 years of existence. On 1^st November 1956, it came to be known as Karnataka. On this day, and on every other day in the future, remember this beautiful state, love it and respect it. Karnataka is the state of sandalwood, IT and temples; not to mention wonderful scenery and warm people. Happy Kannada Rajyotsava everyone!

hey as Putturani said, today's the day 50 years ago Karnataka came into existance...
The year of Suvarna Karnataka, Suvarna in kannada means gold...
The golden year, 1st Nov 2006....
