Recap : Princess Damayanti and Senapati Veer are born again after 1000 yrs as Savitri and Satya in Kolkata. Savitri has special powers, she can see and hear the dead.
Opening scene shows Rahu Kaal's sister Kulika promising him that she will get him back ... as the story of Savirti - Satyavaan is incomplete without Yamraj...and that was her bro Raahu Kaal... she remembers his supernatural powers and we get a flashback...
...A dark den, numerous men held in captivity in a wooden cage , Rahu Kaal using supernatural powers to draw out the life energy from the living and turn them senile instantaneously and as they fall lifeless to the ground ... he saps in their life energy and becomes all the more powerful ...
Kulika is happy that she is close to bringing him back to his previous glory once again ...
Next scene...Savitri returns home, still scared of her own special powers, ... to be able to see and hear the dead, ...she is disturbed and looks around her house to make sure no other dead souls are following her. She suddenly bumps into someone n jumps out of her skin, alarmed.. ...turning around to find her own sister Mishti playing a prank on her ... to Savitri's immense relief.
The following scene shows Mishti, who has been detailed to take the kids out to a picnic, feigns illness, manages to fool every one including Mother Superior ... And ultimately the ever helpful Savitri volunteers to do the job ... to the Mother's immense relief and pleasure ...and earning her Mother's blessings ... while Mishti plans to go out on a date ...
Satya , arrives home on his mobike with a bunch of roses for his mom,and we get a sugary sweet family scene... with Sathya complementing his parents for having the same freshness and excitement of newlyweds in their relationship even after 25 yrs of marriage. To this his dad adds that it is 40 yrs as they were lovers when he was 10 yrs of age ... How sweet ...
His mom complains that he has not found himself a GF and is reluctant to let her choose a girl for him, how will he ever marry ??... with a smile he promises to tell her, the moment he finds his girl ...
A scene of Sathya giving a lift to someone in need, on the streets... Behaving like a Good Samaritan ...
A bus decorated with balloons ... Full of kids happily singing "lakdi ki kaathi, kaathi pe ghoora... " all playing with balloons including Savitri...and we see Sathya riding his mobike just behind the bus ... Every body is in a happy mode when Savitri sees his face and is suddenly disturbed to get a flash of another face ... A thousand yrs old face of a man she sees clearly .. But does not immediately understand it ...she sways slightly at the thoughts but recollects herself and carries on ...On his bike Sathya too feels the connection .. but does not understand it ... The bus reaches their destination a beautiful picnic spot ...all kids get off the bus ... And attempt to cross the road on their own, when the Good Samaritan comes to the kids assistance and helps them cross over to the other side ...
...he gets drawn to Savitri ... He immediately senses a connection...an unknown attraction, a feeling of belongingness, as if he has met his soulmate of a thousand years, he gets drawn to her as if he belonged to her ... We get an awesome BG song .." Tum ho pass mere, saath mere, tum ho..." And he is in love at first sight ... Savitri too senses his presence and can feel the same powerful attraction ... She gets flashes of the same face in her mind ... That of a certain Senapati ... She sways again ...shocked ... tries to wipe out those memories from her mind but fails ... She looks him and tries to decipher what is going on ... why was she feeling thus for a complete stranger ...
... Flying high above them is Kulika in Hawk Avtaar ...witnessing the meeting of soulmates and cries out in glee ... Churns up a local whirlwind ... dislodging a nest from a tree ... And both Sathya-Savi being such good Samaritans could never let the nest fall to the ground ... both run to save it and thus their hands come in contact ... releasing shock waves thru both the soulmates and they are shocked and amazed at their uncontrolled mutual attraction ... As the air around them crackles with electricity ...
... Savitri is shocked at the memories flashing thru in her mind at lightening speed and she sways under its impacs ... he is confused at her behaviour and does not understand what was happening to her ... she decides to leave the spot to join the kids in their games ... Leaving behind Sathya ... But he is completely in awe of her ... He just does not wish to let her go ...he recalls his " ghanti baj gayi " moment had arrived ... He Extends a friendly hand towards her ... "Hi, I'm Sathya... Full name Satyavaan Rai Choudhury... Please tell me yours "... She leaves ... Too shaken with all the happenings of the last few moments ... Without looking back ...
... But destiny has other plans ... The kids answer what Savitri does not ... " Didi's name is Savitri"... Just then their driver who overhears the entire conversation ... Announces ... "What an amazing jodi Savitri-Satyavaan .. Khoob Bhaalo... Just like an ancient Mahagathaa (epic love story )."...Sathya replies "your name is beautiful ... "... She shyly turns away and leaves ...
Sathya continues to stare at her as she plays games with the kids ... Completely mesmerised at her beauty, her grace , her flowing long jet black hair ... And looking so beautiful in her dupatta ...and so full child like innocence on her face ...
