CHAPTER 9
Khushi went inside her room with her coffee mug and sat down , she really enjoyed seeing a tensed Arnav in front of her and she thought that probably , this sweetheart who was coming might be the same girl from the diary . She so wanted to see this girl , see how beautiful she is , see how lucky she is to get a man like Arnav , but then Arnav had asked her to stay inside until he asks her to come out and so she didn't dare do it and went and locked the door from inside and took out the diary and went near the balcony sat down and turned the pages.
7th October :
I WOULD NEVER WANT HER TO BE REFERRED TO AS MY GIRLFRIEND , A TERM TOO POLLUTED AND OFTEN ABUSED , BECAUSE SHE IS MUCH MORE THAN THAT . WHY CALL HER ANYTHING ELSE , WHEN SHE HAS A NAME SO BEAUTIFUL ?
I was on my way towards the classes , when I heard some random guy talking in the corridor and telling that she was his girlfriend . That they had spent a lot of time together and how he used to use her everytime he wanted , how she was his blank cheque and how she always used to give him money when ever he needed. He was telling that he always used to gift her cheap gifts , while she bought him all expensive catchy things. She was so useful for him , but now since he likes somebody else he has dumped her and is with the other girl. After hearing all this I realised that he was the same guy for whom she was crying in the canteen that day. I remembered feeling bad for him , but now after hearing my blood is boiling , I so feel like pouncing on him and ripping of his head for feeling and telling like this about her , for using her status her wealth in exchange of feelings. Such cheap persons they are. So from today , I just decided that if someday I get her , I will never call her my girlfriend , as it simply doesn't have any meaning and ant divineness , the way she has. WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN THE PERSON YOU LOVE THE MOST LOVES SOMEONE ELSE? DO YOU STOP LOVING THAT PERSON ? OR DO YOU LOVE THE PERSON EVEN MORE ? IT'S THE LATTER FOR ME.
It has become a daily routine for me , to see her in the canteen . Today also when I entered the canteen , I saw her , she was standing and talking with my best friend all excitedly. She was looking too happy and was looking too happy. It was as if after ages I was seeing her happy, that twinkle in her eyes were back , she was too excited and she was telling something to my best friend and he too was smiling and was nodding his head . I slowly went and sat down on my chair. My semisters were coming to an end and it was time for me , to somehow or the other start a conversation with her, somehow or the other talk with her and probably my best friend was the only person who can help me in making a conversation with her. As soon as I will get a chance I will ask him to help me , I decided and smiled thinking how I will propose her , how I will tell her how much I love her. I saw him finishing his conversation with her and coming back towards our table. He came and sat down beside me. I asked what was the matter and he told me that she
Khushi was too busy in reading the part when suddenly she heard the door of her room flung open and she in an instant closed the diary and somehow or the other put it inside her pillow and turned towards the door to see a small girl still holding the door knob and turned towards Arnav and saying him something , while Arnav looking at Khushi with a bit of fear , yes yes fear. And then the girl turned around and seeing Khushi shouted
"Kaun ho tum ???" [Who are you ???]
Khushi and Arnav both were dumbfounded , Khushi didn't knew what to say and Arnav he was confused. The girl looked back at Arnav and then entered inside the room , came in front of the bed and stood there placing her hands on her hips and asked
"Maine tum se kuch pucha' who are you and what are you doing here ???"
Khushi didn't knew what to do and looked at Arnav with n expression of 'now what' and Arnav suddenly said
"Ananya'. Hmm she is Khushi ' ok now lets go'"
"Wait a minute Mamu !!!"
"Mamu ??" Khushi murmured and Ananya said
"Yes Mamu !! he is mamu and what are YOU doing in his apartment?" and she cocked her eyebrow , just like Arnav and that's when Khushi noticed that there was so much similar between this small girl Ananya and Arnav.
"Ugghhh huhhh ' woh' mai.. yaha'.. ask Arnav" and with that she took a deep breathe and Ananya turned towards Arnav with a questioning look and standing just like the way Arnav does with her hands folding over her chest.
"Ananya sweetheart, lets go outside , and sit , I will explain."
Khushi heard him call her sweetheart and don't know why but she felt relieved . So she was his sweetheart , his neice and she and her wild imaginations . God !!! what a mental she is and that's when she heard
"Oh Mamu I soo love you ' aapko kuch batane ki jarurat nahi hai this is my MAMI isn't it???"
"What ???" both Arnav and Khushi said in unsion.
"Mamu tumhe kya lagta hai mujhe samajh nahi aayega' cmon' toh this is the reason aap yaha akele rehte ho , I mean Mami ke saath rehte ho aur jab bhi mai aur mom Mami dhundne ki baat karte hai , you avoid it. Sach mein you are '"
"I am not your'" "She is not your mami'" both of them said together , but ananya God she was surely not the one to listen.
"Aacha aagar yeh meri mami nahi hai , toh yeh kaun hai aur yaha aapke saath aapke apartment mein kya kar rahi hai.. cmon mamu.. I am too happy and as usual your choice , I love it.. " [Oh really then what is she doing in your apartment ?]
"Ananya sweety just listen to me '"
"No Mamu you listen to me'. I am gonna be here full day , so I am going to talk lots and lots of thing with my mami and so you better go out now and do get busy with your laptop . Bye !!!" and with that she pushed him out of the room and closed the door.
Arnav banged the door and she from inside shouted
"Just get lost Arnav !!!" that also in a strict tone , same like his and soon the banging stopped and Ananya smiled and turned towards her new found Mami.
Khushi all these time was standing there and was enjoying this , i.e seeing Arnav Singh Raizada being ordered by his niece is such a sweet and awesome scene , which no one should miss. But seeing Ananya turn , she started feeling nervous. Ananya c ame in front of her stood there and extended her hands saying
"Hi !! I am Ananya Jha' Mamu's one and only sweetheart and niece."
Khushi smiled at the bubliness of the girl and extending her hand and shaking her hand with Ananya said
"Hi !! I am Khushi , Khushi kumara Gupta , I am a doctor."
"Wow tum doctor ho ??? Mujhe bhi bare ho kar doctor banna hai'" [You are a doctor ??? I also want to become a doctor when I grow up]
Khushi smiled at her and soon Khushi felt good , this small girl was really a sweetheart , she was sweet , fun loving , bubbly , naughty and kind . She was so much a copy of Arnav and in this short time span only they have become good buddies.
After an hour or so Arnav came to her room to take her , but then she said
"Listen Arnav I have a good offer for you."
Arnav cocked his eyebrow in his sexy manner and folding his hands over his chest asked
"And what is that sweety ?"
"Hmm you let me spend the whole day with Khushi mami and I promise will not tell anything about her in home. Now Deal or no deal , you think , but let me tell you beforehand if you go for it then there is profit for you only , now the option is yours." And with that she too folded her arms just like Arnav.
Khushi sat on the bed and was trying really hard to suppress her smile , she was truly his niece , and probably she was the only one who knew how to make this great Arnav Singh Raizada straight. Arnav looked at Ananya and then at Khushi for once and then nodded and ananya extended her hand and Arnav shook with hers and both uttered a 'Deal' . Rest Khushi and Ananya spent the whole day together , they talked and talked , Khushi cooked lunch while she helped him . Khushi taught her doing several hairstyles and many more and finally around 7 Arnav came to them and said
"Ananya , di is downstairs waiting for you' now lets go."
Ananya nodded and moving towards Khushi hugged her and said
"Bye Khushi Mami , will meet you soon and aagar Mamu ne aapko zara sa bhi daanta just call me and let me know I promise mai mamu ko sabk sikhayungi , here is my no." and with that she handed her the no. and after giving a warm smile left with Arnav.
Khushi looked at their retreating back and smiled , such a sweet girl Ananya is , she had a lot of fun today , and she enjoyed so much. Soon she went inside her room to get changed into her night suit . She changed and the nsat down to complete the left out portion of the part she was reading , she opened the page and started reading from the starting again

She surely felt bad for him but then was curious to read more and so she turned the diary page and started reading again
2nd November :
LIFE DOESN'T MAKE SENSE ANYMORE
Everything is lost , the reason of my living , but still I have to live for my Di , for the only person I have now. Today itself I returned back to the university , I was still not over the shock of loosing my parents , he deadly shock of loosing my most loved once in an accident like that , that came another shock for me. I was too broken , and was sitting on our table , I wanted to talk with my best friend , talk with him , tell him what happened with mom and dad , wanted to tell him , how have lost the most important part of my life , and I also wanted to tell him about her , so I kept on waiting. He came after 10 minutes or so and seeing me sitting in the canteen rushed to me , he pulled a chair and sat beside me and asked what happened in back home , why I had to leave all of a sudden or so. I told him how I went back and found the news of my parent's accident , how I lost both of them and how we shifted to our Nani's place , how broken everybody is , specially Di . He was not only my best friend but also like a brother , in these 4 years of our university we have become really close to eachother ad so hearing the news he too was affected. He consoled me and then his phone ranged. As soon as he saw the caller id his face lighted up and he picked it up , after a minute or so , he disconnected the call and facing me told that he has some good news, some news that will surely cheer up me. He told that finally from being a playboy he is settling with a girl . I was happy to know that coz , hearing him settle was a relief for me , as now I too will be able to tell him about her , about how I love her. I asked him who the girl was an instead of telling her name he pointed towards the entrance of the canteen , I looked there and the rest part of my heart which was still left unbroken , shattered. My world came shattering down , there she stood , my angel , hmmm my dream angel standing there and smiling at him . He continued telling me how after that day she told him about her feelings for him and he too shared his and now they were together they were BOYFRIEND ' GIRLFRIEND. I looked at him and seeing him smile faked a smile and excusing myself got up from my chair and started going out of the canteen , I was moving out when I again catched her amazing smell , but ignoring it and ignoring my bleeding heart I left the room , without letting anybody know that I too felt something , I too felt love for that most awesome girl of my university. I don't have any other reason to live now , its just because of my Di , that I have to live that I have to do everything , coz there was simply nothing left for me , life which seemed beautiful to me now doesn't make any more sense. I still wish someday I will get a chance to talk with her. I wish'
She read this part again and again and couldn't stop the tears which were now rolling down her cheek . She was feeling angry , yes angry and that also towards God , for doing like this with him , for hurting him so much. She so wanted him , she so wanted a guy like him to be happy , but what was this a sad love story , but then the story has not ended till now. She wanted to read the next part , but now she will not be able to read , as she was hungry and too sad to continue reading it further , so she kept the diary went to the washroom , washed her face and went out of her room to warm the food. She warmed the dinner and called Arnav for the dinner. They sat down for the dinner , and started eating in silence. Arnav noticed that she was too silent and so he said
"I am sorry for whatever Ananya did , for Ananya calling you her Mami .. coz right at that moment I didn't knew what to tell her."
Khushi looked at him , at his eyes and nodded , she was feeling too bad , looking at him was making it worse. She didn't knew how he beared all these , means seriously she thought if she was in his place , then she might would have committed suicide , but this guy , he lived , he lived for him Di after getting such two big heartbreaks. He is really something different , someone whom none knows , someone whom she would also have never known if she had not read his diary.
She again started eating her food when she heard him say
"Hmmm pack your bags by tonight , tomorrow I am gonna release you , I am gonna drop you home in the morning."
"What ???" Khushi asked shocked
"Ya , my revenge is completed , now from tomorrow you will be free , I don't need to keep you in captive anymore." And with that he got up and left for his room , leaving a shocked Khushi.
