Very few and heart touching movies by Sanjay Leela Bhansali
He has his own style that brings life out of these characters. Words often failed to describe the feel that one got while watching the movies, as he strive for that... the feel and the touch. Movie industry is not just a platform to entertain audience with their various roles, and people in the industry are not entertainers.
It is a platform to bring life for imaginary characters, along with a silent message. It is a platform to portray one's innermost feelings. It is a platform to address various issues.
Be it good, or be it bad, this platform transfers quickly.
His movies held that essence in within them. It makes us to think for a while, makes us to involve ourself into the character.
Ever had tears while watching the struggle of the woman and her way of communication with her mute and deaf parents...?
Ever thought about the struggle the woman faced while fate gave her two situations to choose ... one among her parents and her lover ... one among her lover and her husband...?
Ever pitied on a coward, who lost his whole life, his lady love, nor his inability to speak against his father...?
Ever did you resolve yourselves to achieve something to make your parents proud...?
Ever wondered about the love, which gave a man, who willing to kill himself, a hope to life with the woman he loved...?
His characters, however they might be, make his audience fell in love with them.
And for the first time, he is going to spread his magic on the small screen, with the most successful Gujarati novel, SARASWATICHANDRA...
Saraswatichandra is a Gujarati Novel by Govardhanram Madhavaram Tripathi, which depicts the traditions and its values of Gujarat State, and the ideologies of people in 19th - early 20th century. The author took nearly 15 years to complete series of volumes with nearly 40 characters on an average.
The story is about a man, Saraswatichandra, who puts his ideology above his own happiness, and how he struggled in his life. After deciding to reject the woman whom his father selected for him, he wrote a letter to the woman, Kumud Sundari, who replies to his letter. Thus, a love story blossoms in the middle of his journey, without caring the differences of their family member's ideologies.
The story shows the lifestyle of Gujarat people around 19-20 centuries, with a cute love between the leads.
The most interesting fact about the novel, the author very well picked the names for his characters, (40, on an average) and the name for each character depicts the personality...
Here, we are blessed to see such a love in this generation, and all thanks to Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He did had few changes so that the serial would be welcomed to this generation people, yet having the story line the same as the novel...
And I am eagerly waiting for 25th of February, for the serial to start...
Goutham Rode as Saraswatichandra
Jennifer Winget Grover as Kumud Sundari
Aired in Star Plue from 25th February at 7:30 PM, we are going to have another heart touching serial...

This picture is what captured me the most than the other pics... This ideally shows how different his personality is from the others.. In a well lavished Mansion, with highly dressed people, he stood out with his taal...!!!
And here comes our Gujarati Girl, Kumud Sundari...

Isn't she pretty in her outfit..??
Well, I am really looking forward for the week to pass...
