Hey readers. Hope you all had a great week and a fun filled Valentine's Day? Undoubtedly the week was exciting for all you Television aficionados. Makers of most of the shows and the channels had weaved Valentine's Day themed episodes that were telecasted closer to or on February 14.

For audiences believing in Valentine's Day, the celebration increased manifold. For those who do not believe in Valentine's Day, were neither disappointed. They also got to witness great performances and special celebrations on Television as the small screen seemed to be bitten by a love bug.

Be it the special web premiere organized by Star Plus for its upcoming showSaraswatichandra or special shows like Dil, Dhammal and Dhoka and Ishq Wala Lovetelecasted by Zee TV or a star studded Valentine's Day celebration lined up by Zoom or classic romantic movies lined up throughout the day by various movie channels.

Storyline for existing prime time shows were also edited to celebrate the festival of love and romance. Be it then Balika Vadhu aired on Colors or Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Pyar Ka Dard Hai aired on Star Plus or Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Rab Se Sohna Ishq, Hitler Didi shown on Zee TV or Bade Acche Laggte Hain on Sony TV….Believe me the list was never-ending.

We may think that Valentine's Day is past gone and the party has come to an end. But wait, the celebration is not yet over for Channel [V]. And why not; every day of life should be a Valentine's Day…Right!!!

Channel [V] has organized a cross-over episode 'V' Wala Love that will feature the cast from its current shows. The Valentine's Special episode will go on air today i.e on February 18, 2013 from 6:00 pm onwards. It is expected that all the Star Jodi's of all the shows will join the team of Dil Dostii Dance for an evening full of fun, frolic, madness, masti and obviously, the quintessential element, Rommmance…..

Anticipations are that the entire gang from Dil Dostii Dance will be present. They are expected to be accompanied by KD (Fahad Ali) and Kiya (Bharti Kumar) from The Buddy Project, Suvreen (Smriti Kalra) and Yuvraj (Shivin Narang) from Suvreen Guggal – Topper of the Year. And last but not the least, the girls from Best Friends Forever shall also be there to grace the event.

Telecast of cross-over episode in name of Maha-Sangam or Maha-Episode has become a norm for the Television industry. It gives the audiences an opportunity to view performances from their favorite stars on a single platform and in turn a favorable response to channels marketing strategy. Channel [V] however, will be doing this for the very first time post it's conversion from a music channel to a youth based general entertainment channel. Audiences will be able to witness around 10 performances by their favourite stars.
