Shot in the dark: Mega star gets pricey to attend a felicitation ceremony

Now here's some garma garam gossip about a mega star from Bollywood

This veteran actor is known for his relationships in the industry and has ruled Bollywood for decades. He has starred in some of the biggest hits of his career helmed by a top director who passed away last year. The auteur was noted for his romantic films.

A production company invited this mega star to attend a felicitation ceremony for the director. Interestingly, the star put forward a long list of demands. The production house was stunned over the mega bucks that the actor asked for, especially keeping in mind the relationship that the late director and he shared.

In fact, the director was also responsible in giving the star a fresh lease of life when he was down and out.

The famous song by the late Mehmood seems apt for this situation!

I think it's Rishi Kapoor. The Kapoors were AWOL from JTHJ premiere too despite being part of the film. I believe they were in town also.

SRK isn't called a "veteran" actor, nor did Yash Chopra give him a new "lease of life" when he was down and out. Yash Chopra gave SRK the role of a lifetime with Darr when he was a newcomer, and then after that SRK was always at the top of his game when he worked with Yash Chopra.

Well anyways, this explains why Shtarugan Sinha eventually had to speak and screw it all up.

Dude there's a recession going on In Bachchan household. With the khandaan being out of work, AB has to do this. I hear he's even contemplating starring in daily soaps. Someone has to make money in order to gift Baby A IPad and a car.

BigB is not known for romantic films. This seems to be SRK and Yash Chopra.

^ Nah it does not sound like SRK. He wasn't down and out in his career to get a lease of life from Yash Chopra. It has to be somebody who's more experienced than him plus mega star rules him out. People refer to him as a super star don't we for blind items 😆

^ Star known for romantic films completely rules out BigB. I don't think he acted in any pure romantic films except for a couple of Hrishikesh Mukherjee movies like Jurmana etc.
Maybe it is Rishi Kapoor. His forte was always romantic movies.

edited out srk..coz he didn't fit the veteran actor/superstar since decaded thing!!

bachchan worked in mohabbatein(2000) which helped him get over his financial troubles!

Its Big B and Yash Chopra. This is no blind item...it was reported in the media too. Because of Big B's demands they replaced him with Shatrughan Sinha who made the famous Rani Chopra comment. Adi must be thinking that he should have given into Big B's demands. 😆
