Reminds me of the story where a young novelist's work is rejected by his publisher. He complains that his story had a lot of original and good content. The publisher replied that what was good was not original, what was original was not good.

But sadly, Kektaa's cannot even copy the good part properly.

The only reason why KS still has a male occupying the pole position is that RK is a very good actor. Not bcos of the scriptwriters.

(But what I gather from the reading across various posts is that it is ok for a partner to betray another if there are misunderstanding or any hostility in the relationship gives the other partner the ticket to jump in the sack with anyone. )

Incidentaly, the villain of the piece- JW himself -has never used this defence to justify his behaviour. Maybe he is made of stronger stuff than his supporters like us.

(Jai Walia has to start trusting Bani then he can expect the same trust from Bani. )

Absolutely, these days I am more irritated by JW's behaviour than Bani's.

(I do not know if I should say this but if the people who are saying this are ever faced with a similar situation in their lives. God Forbid!!! will they accept if their partner gave the same response what they are saying to defend Jai Walia???? )

Let me tell you in no uncertain words- if I made my hubby go through what Bani did for whatever reason, I would expect no loyalty from him.

I would much rather than see Bani as a 1st rate Bani - (the Bani of old days remember the one who never strayed from her duty as a wife, as a sister, as a friend and yet was not afraid of standing upto JW himself) than a third rate JW.

But still if settling scores with JW makes her a happy person I would still be OK with it. But will it?

And let me tell you it would be very unsporting, JW will (like Sujal) quitely accept any punishment that Bani chooses to dish out. And when Bani ends up destroying JW, she will like the Pandavas after Mahabharata feel that it was not worth it.

excellently argued Pri!! 👏 and as for your comment about likening Jai's ONS to real life, and what we would do then - I completely agree. but it's an unfair comparison, because no-one in real life would deal with things the way Bani did - it's completely unrealistic!!!

as for ekta's treatment of women in her serials - i think they are always shown to be the most righteous, ever-perfect characters. i really think men always get a raw deal in her shows, in terms of their portrayal, but with no other character have I cared about this!! 🤢

Mihir, Anurag etc didn't really evoke sympathy because they were so annoyingly good and perfect. Jai Walia is Ekta's most human and realistic male protagonist, which is why his predicament touches us all so much! 😭

And Pri, don't you think Sujal is the closest thing to JW in any of her shows - look how Ekta slaughtered his character.... doesn't really bode well for the future of KS does it? 😡

She needs to let them live in peace for a while and bring other characters. into limelight.And as someone already mentioned I would love see JB confiding in each other and fighting their problems together like Nahar and saloni!
