W r t Kahaani, there were so many others in the movie who did better job than him. Thats why dont get this buzzz growing on for him.

And I noticed him in Kahaani first. In fact my second most impactful character from Kahaani after 'Nomoskar Ek Minute'.

not many would remember but in jab we met, he was there in one scene with kareena left alone in the railway station and he comes offering water bottle or so and in that one scene he made such an impact that i still remeber him from that mvie

I believe that was Asif Basra, not the same actor. Although he did make an impact from that one scene!

So just enjoy the movies and hope every 5th or 6th is somewhat sensible 😉

I for one m happy tht Nawaz who used to play character roles nd I cant even call dem tht, coz some of his roles r just one scene, rather as an extra, through sheer grit nd talent is finally getting his due nd with tht BW has really come of age.

I first noticed him in the Nandita Das directed Firaaq, though I didnt know who d actor was. I saw d movie at d time of its release nd he really played his character of a muslim in gujarat during the 2001 roits very well. His fear nd panic were very real. Tht char stuck in my mind.

It doesn't matter whether the role is small or big its the impact which you create on the audience who will remember you for dat particular character.
