Today was geet handa's marriage with her father's friend's son. soon the baarat was going to arrive. I will say u geet's life now. geet handa the only daughter of mohinder and rano handa. was pampered a lot and loved life very much.
Just turned 18 and as per mohinder's promise to his friend geet would marry his son as soon as she turn 18. geet knew this from her childhood and she prevented herself from any other person's influence...geet to started to like him and she started to wave dreams from childhood thinking about himâŚfinally the day came for her marriageâŚ
Hmmm what to say about her character??the bubliest girl one would ever come across..her senese of humour would bring smile to everyone's faceâŚwhen she is present she couldn't see any one sadâŚand the things that she always had weakness for was bangles and red colourâŚafter knowing about her husband she started respecting himâŚbut when this respect turned to love she never knewâŚ
she never knew much about him except his name and that their marriage was fixed and he was her dad's friend's sonâŚwhen she came to know that he was in army her respect for him increased ten foldsâŚ
she started respecting him a lot..they had talked only twiceâŚduring that she came to know many thing about him and her feeling became strongâŚ.Ok now coming back to presentâŚ.
the baarat had arrivedâŚbutterflies were flying in her stomach thinking about their lifeâŚshe was called down for the pherasâŚafter the phera's there was vidaai after which geet left for dev's homeâŚthere she was welcomed in a grand wayâŚat night she was very nervous..dev came slowly into the room and asked her to change and sleepâŚfirst she felt bad but then she was glad that he understood that she was not readyâŚ
the next day geet prepared sweet and all praised itâŚshe then left for pagphere to her home and returned evening with dev..they became more comfortable with each otherâŚ.
they had dinner at his homeâŚthere dev broke the news that he has to return to his duty from the next dayâŚgeet was very sad hearing this..the whole dinner she was grumpyâŚwhen dev came to the room he saw geet was cryingâŚnot knowing how to console her slowly he went and sat next to her..
sensing his presence near her she immediately hugged himâŚnot know what else to do he also respondedâŚthen after that what happened was totally dreamy for geet and devâŚthey became oneâŚthe next morning geet's happiness was in sky and she happily sent off devâŚ
after some days geet came to know that she was pregnantâŚgeet felt that she had got all her happinessâŚbut they saw when happiness knocks your door it also brings sadness..and the same happened with geetâŚthe day which she thought would be the best day of her life she would have never thought that it would turn so disastrousâŚ
happily she returned home to inform them the good news unaware what this day has in store for her..she reached home to see sadness everywhereâŚsomething didn't go well with itâŚshe went to dev's mother who was just like a mother to herâŚgeet saw her crying fiercelyâŚ.
her heart immediately sensed something bad..immediately her hand went to her stomach to assure her babyâŚshe went near her and called herâŚafter seeing geet she started crying moreâŚ

geet was just staring into empty spaceâŚthat one night was going in front of her and her hand was protecting her unborn childâŚnone saw her condition till she fainted taking dev's name loudlyâŚ
the doctor was called..she said to make her cry else I would harm her and her childâŚhearing this dev's mom said that dev would come back into this worldâŚafter sometime geet gained consciousness and she was cared by all but none could make her cryâŚ
they did the final rituals of devâŚtill now geet didn't even spill a drop of tear from her eyesâŚall her dreams were crashedâŚ.her bangles which she got with most love after knowing her pregnancy were removedâŚfrom her body all red signs were removed and she was made to wear the colour that she hated the most WHITE,âŚ.but this also didn't make her cryâŚ
all tried their level best to make her cryâŚ.even the doctor said that if she didn't cry then unfortunately they would have to abort the babyâŚwhen this too didn't affect her dev's aunt who always wanted her daughter to be dev's wife poisoned dev's mom's mind against geet saying that geet would kill young devâŚbecause of her only dev diedâŚelse dev had been in military for many years but till now he had never even got a single scratch but as soon as this girl came we lost our dev..she was successful in poisoning her mind..
she went to geet and told her that for her child and dev she must cry,âŚ.hearing the word child tears started to come out of her eyesâŚ.she broke out completelyâŚshe hugged dev's mom and criedâŚeven her heart pained..but suddenly she remembered her sister's wordsâŚshe immediately pushed geet away..geet who was drowsy slept thereâŚ
slowly days started passing and geet observed change in her mother's behaviour..but shrugged it off thinking it might be due to the loss of her sonâŚgeet became a stone after his death..she was living only for her child and her familyâŚalways her mother will be talking about the baby being a boy and she would be happy that dev will again come back to his motherâŚthis think always pricked geet..she noticed that whenever she would be with geet she would always talk about the child..she never asked even once about geet..
some months passed(approx. 8 months..) geet was sitting in the hall and dev's mom was preparing dinner for the familyâŚsuddenly geet screamed in painâŚimmediately geet was rushed to the hospital by his motherâŚ
she was taken to labourâŚafter sometime the whole family came there and were waiting eagerly for the young dev to come into the worldâŚafter sometime they heard the sound of a baby cryingâŚeverybody's face lit with a smileâŚ
the doctor came out and congractulated on a baby girlâŚimmedaitely the smile disappeared and it was replaced by anger specially in his mom's faceâŚ
