The Valentine Proposal
Rachna Agarwal wanted to punch someone really hard. Her Valentine 's day was a disaster, her mom had asked her to shell peas and she had finished almost 5 kgs . Wow what a wonderful way to spend her first Valentine s after marriage.
She remembered the sham of a wedding, the day Gunjan was exposed by Vihaan his elder brother had no choice but to save her 'honour'. As usual she had no say in the matter, God it was so difficult to spend so much time with the man who had rejected her. Earlier she would do her best to avoid him but it was not possible in the school quarters. She would sleep in the bedroom while he slept on the couch in the hall, every morning she would tiptoe past him to go to the kitchen to make tea. She always tried her best not to make him, but mysteriously he would be up before she went to place the cup on the table. She would rush to college to keep a safe distance from him but alas every afternoon she had to face him on the hockey field. He was supposed to be her husband but she was his 'Target' on the field. He would make her practice twice as hard, he never listened to her 'No'. For punishment he would make her run 10 rounds while the others just got 5. she would return home, no not home it was just a house , 4 walls in tears. She would take a hot bath to relieve her sore muscles but before she would even finish he would be knocking on the door screaming to sit and study. He never let her cook, while she made a game of guessing what is for dinner by sniffing the aroma from the kitchen. They would end up fighting for the remote at the end of her uneventful day. She should have learned to become indifferent but Rajeev Agarwal had managed to make a very special place for himself in her heart.
Rachna came back to her room and plonked on the bed. This was the third time she had fought with him and left home to come to her Mom's. The other two times he had come the next morning and asked her to come back simply and she had obliged. This time it was different, it was four days and there was no sign of him. She had not gone to college either as she dint want to face the man who had rejected her love twice. The wound of the recent rejection far more painful than the first..
************************************************************************************************************
It had started four days back when she had seen him laughing away to glory with Miss Anamika in a deserted corridor. The woman was unbashedly flirting with him, she was almost clinging to her husband's muscled arm while she was pushing his hair back with the other hand.Rachna s mouth dried ,tears welled up in her eyes she could not stand the sight and she ran back home. The green monster had striked.
Rajeev had come back home furious Rachna had missed hockey practice, the door was already open and she was sitting on the floor with a huge bowl of Ice cream "What are you doing here???" he roared "You Miss hockey practiced to eat Chocolate Ice-cream ?? Don't you know you are allowed Ice cream only on Sundays"
"To hell with your hockey, to hell with your rules and to hell with you she sobbed" throwing the spoon on him.
What was wrong with her Rajeev wondered. She looked like a mad woman.
"I saw you flirting with Miss Anamika" Rachna sniveled. "She had her hands all over you..."
"Dont read to much in everything "Rajeev countered ."It meant nothing you have to trust me"
Rachna continued bawling "What difference does that make??? It s not that I could ever mean something to you..."
God this girl is so confusing what does she even mean????
"I love you.." Rachna screamed
Rajeev looked exasperated "I had already told you on the first night I dont believe in LOVE, no flowers or heart type of pyaar for me"
Rachna had packed her bags howling and she stomped out of the house closing the door angrily behind her leaving a helpless Rajeev.
****************************************************************************************************************
Rajeev checked his phone to check if it was still working as he paced in the hall nervously to and fro ,it had been four days since she had gone to her mom s house. Eighty three hours to be precise a corner of his brain squeaked. He shook the phone as if that would make her name appear flashing on the screen .He threw the phone in a corner ,Damn he missed her he had thought she would come back herself when he had not gone to pick her up the next day. Instead she had done a number on him by not coming to college. Last four days he missed his morning alarm the sweet clinking of her bangles which woke him up hell he even missed her tea. He was thinking too much about this girl . Not girl she is YOUR WIFE, the voice inside his head screamed again. He had to distract himself, he switched on the TV and went to the kitchen to cook. He looked across the hall usually "She" would be sitting on the chair her pen in her mouth scrunching her nose carelessly turning pages. Damn she dint even let him cook in peace. He came back to the hall and started changing channels strangely every channel had something about the dreaded four letter word. Let s hear some music at least that will clear my head he mused.
Strangely all the movie songs reminded him of the times he spent with Rachna. The way she would clutch his hand during a scary movie, the way she told the pani puri wala to serve her the extra spicy ones even though her eyes would water up and she would look at him and he would wordlessly hand her his handkerchief. Everything around reminded him of her she had come into his life and turned it upside down. His phone rang he ran to pick it up It might be Rachna calling to ask him to take her back. His mood worsened and he hung up It was a promotional call about some Valentine s day offer. Why dint she call??? You can call her as well the voice inside his head whispered conspiringly. He picked up his phone dialed her number his restlessness magnified as her phone was switched off. Where was she?? What had happened to her?? What if she is out with enjoying Valentine s with her sister?? The evil voice mocked at his aching heart. Or was she sick? Did she meet with an accident?? What if he lost her?? Could he imagine a life without her? Dint his day begin with waking up looking at her smiling face? Dint he go for a morning jog so that she could use the bathroom first? Dint he love to admire her wearing the short skirt during hockey practice? She has a fine pair of legs, Dint he always behave rudely with her so that the naughty thoughts left his brain? Dint he love listening to her hum when she sat behind him on the bike? Dint he always buy clothes which she liked? Dint his heart swell up with pride every time she gave him a compliment? Dint his day begin and end with her?
I cant live without her, it suddenly dawned on him. He had to get her back now!!
He picked his phone called Gunjan she told him she was at home sulking refusing to go out anywhere , strangely Rachna s behaviour pleased him.Her last words were I love you while he had cruelly crushed her heart. Love was a funny thing his entire life he wanted to run away but today he just wanted to be with her, to hold her in his arms.He had hurt her enough and he would spend a lifetime making it up .
Rajeev took his bike keys and drove all the way to her house in record time stopping on the way to pick something for his wife. The lights were off he decided to climb her balcony and surprise her. He sneaked in within no time, he would have to tell his father in law tomorrow to get new locks for his doors and windows. He entered her room it was dark he could hear her sobbing and could make out her shapely figure lying on the bed.
The sound of footsteps made Rachna stop crying and turn,"Kaun Hai" she enquired. Her voice was music to his ears. He locked the door after all he dint want anyone disturbing his Valentine s night. Rachna sat up and switched on the bedside lamp, her mouth opened it was the very same man who haunted her dreams. She tried to maintain a brave facade"What are you doing here?"He sat beside her on the bed and gave her a box. She opened it and looked at him confusingly
"What s this??? It has wedding cards of all shapes and sizes"
" Yes, pick your favorite after all I want the right names to be printed this time" Rachna looked at him in awe He wanted to marry her again?? "That is if you still love me" he muttered under his breath.
"You want me to love you?? "she looked amazed as he nodded in agreement. "Yes I do, I want to be the only man who can make you feel the way you make me feel" he replied possessively.
Rachna stared at him in shock, did he actually say he loved her or was that just a clever play of words? She looked at him expectantly when he broke out in laughter Rachna placed her hand on his
mouth "Sssh someone will hear you". He placed a kiss on her palm which made her pull her hand back and he looked at her mischievously locked your door" she blushed "even if somebody sees me what can they do?? After all I am your husband" he teased her and her cheeks turned pink. He picked her up effortlessly and placed her further on the bed ,he took out his shoes. "What are you doing??" Rachna asked. God the girl is so dense at times "What does it look like? I am going to spend the night with you" he winked making her blush even more. He held her tight as he switched off the light. "Dont worry Love I wont do anything to make you uncomfortable and I will sneak away before everyone wakes up tomorrow morning."
Rachna rested her head on his shoulder as she snuggled closer she had never felt so warm, so safe, so secure. His arms were heaven. Wow this Valentine s night was not bad at all.

Double Celebrations
"Happy Anniversary!"
"Happy Valentine's Day!"
They giggled softly when they both whispered simultaneously, as the clock struck 0:00 hours.
"Happy Valentine's Day!"
"Happy Anniversary!"
This brought a round of laughter as they each repeated the other greeting this time around, as the laughter died to gentle sighs, he reached an arm across her stomach and breathed in the scent of her hair.
As she settled comfortably in his protective shield, she couldn't help but relive those beautiful moments when she became Mrs. Rajeev Agarwal.
Vihaan had hurt her immensely the day he slipped the beautiful diamond ring on her sister, Gunjan's finger and declared to the world that Gunjan was his type, not Rachna. The wind under her sails was knocked out and for the next few weeks she was as good as dead. Moping around, crying at the drop of a hat and refusing food were all the worries that Shail, her mother, had to deal with on a daily basis.
It was a month later, on a bright sunny day, that she entered the hockey field again, not voluntary, but by force. If she did not live up to the admissions quota under which she was admitted into Swami Vivekanand College, she would have to leave. She could have cared less, but her earlier zeal with which she entered the college, returned with a bang when her brother, Mayank and her mother, Shail, reminded her about the pains that they each went through to get her admitted into the college. With renewed determination, head held high and a graceful gait, she confidently approached him, her hockey coach, her first love and undoubtedly, her silent supporter, Mr. Rajeev Agarwal.
A man of few words and powerful aura made him unapproachable in normal circumstances. He was well-known his favourite line, "No mistakes".
"Everyone must have made at least one mistake at sometime," she stubbornly muttered.
"Did you say something, jaan?" She wasn't sure if it was the shrill from the excitement that swells when he used that endearment or the huskiness of his voice, that made her turn crimson instantly, as well as, bring her out of reverie.
He observed the fleeting emotions that crossed her face in a split second and snuggled closer, as a way to probe her to confess.
"I love you!" she declared with conviction, yet he could hear the shyness in her soft voice.
"I love you too, sweetheart," he replied but decided to test the waters, "but that's not what you were thinking about." It was more of a statement than a question.
She turned in his arms, facing him as she looked at his handsome features in the dim moonlight shining through the open window. She always preferred the open windows, and he adored her too much to argue. She had said that their relationship was made under the moonlight and the moon will always be the witness to best moments, hence the open window. Rajeev always teased her by asking what would happen on an eclipse night! And she would always fumble at his questions, a habit she ceased to shirk since college, she thought loathingly.
But tonight, she was in a playful mood as she replied, "Do we have a telepathy going on, Mr.?"
Rajeev was caught off-guard by her sudden playfulness, but quickly regained his composure, "Of course we do, darling!" he stressed on the last word, expecting the exact reaction he got. More blushing and shy smiles, he never felt more victorious as he mentally patted himself on the back.
Pulling the soft blue blanket up to their chins, she relented, "I was thinking about the day my life changed for the better," she shied into his neck this time but couldn't resist the urge to kiss his Adam's apple.
He jolted ever so slightly, as her warm lips made contact with the tender spot on his neck. It took almost all of his reserve not to pounce on her at that moment, for fear of ruining this "romantic moment", as he's sure she would claim. Damn women for thinking Valentine's Day was the most romantic of the entire year, he thought. Although, it should be for them since it was double celebration of as they has gotten married on Valentine's Day a year ago.
"Rachna!" he breathed out, which more or less, came out as a groan. This immediately made her realize what she just did, in an impulsive moment. She jerked her head backwards and stared into his deep eyes, under his scrutinizing gaze, she blushed, again.
"So what exactly were you thinking about?" he curiously queried.
"The day you made me move on from Vihaan," she replied softly with hesitance. He flinched a bit at the mention of his brother. He was very angry with him at that time, now that anger is replaced with discomfort. He frowned as he thought about when he was foolish enough to let this very woman, who rules his heart now, become someone else's.
He lightly chuckled as he remembered, all too clearly, that day she stunned him into silence! Talk about role reversal! He was explaining the strategy of next week's game against Jai Hind College, when he looked up at a poised young woman, taking long strides towards him. He thanked the good Lord that hadn't stood gaping at her, but just let the hard expression etched on his features remain intact. He played "the man of few words" card and just acknowledged her presence and nodded her to seat herself, but in truth, a single sound couldn't escape his lips. He ran through the strategy booklet thoroughly to buy some time as he finally regained his self-control and spoke the necessary things expected of him as a coach of the Girls' Hockey Team at Swami Vivekanand College. As the team dispersed to their regular position on the hockey field, to commence their practice, he examined her keenly as discreetly as possible before he saw her took a deep breath and began.
"Sir, I'm sorry I know I have been lacking in my game lately! Please Sir, I promise I will work thrice as hard to catch up, I really want to stay in SVC at any cost. Please Sir, give me one last chance, I promise, no mistakes!" she said in one breath, that he was afraid she will soon turn blue if she hadn't slowed down, however, he couldn't help but let a small smile play on his lips as she concluded with his favourite line. She was indeed a diligent student and a darn good player, but she was indeed lacking and he thought she just wanted to return since she will be thrown out if she hadn't.
"Why should I let you continue?" the reply was a simple, straightforward question. But it weighed heavily between them and he could read the confusion on her pretty features. "Wait, where did pretty come from?" he scolded himself mentally.
He hadn't realized that the confused expression was replaced with one of determination until she started, "Sir, because I want to continue playing. I love Hockey to no extent, Sir. I admit, I was distracted for quite a while and I let other things take priority in my life."
She paused; and he waited.
"Sir'" she continued hesitantly, "Hockey is my passion. It's the only thing that I can be myself with and be proud of it, my game that is. You showed me that path, where I should never give up and continue fighting for what I think is mine. I tried doing that with my personal life and I failed," she broke into tiny sobs.
The man in him broke with her sobs, but the coach didn't, "Rachna!" he reprimanded sternly, "I'm your coach at this precise moment on my watch not your'" He trailed off, "What was he in her life?" he thought bitterly.
He was brought out of his reverie once again, when she spoke up, "Sorry Sir, as I was saying, my love for Hockey has taught me many things. I won't lie to you, I can't lie to you, I wanted to give up Hockey, but Mayank Bhaiyya and Ma made me understand. But when I thought about it, I realized that Hockey is a part of me that I can't give up, especially not now, when it's all I have to make myself feel connected."
He was impressed by her courage, and somewhat moved by her determination. He wanted a better answer to his question, but hearing this much from Rachna Garg was enough, owing to her nature.
As the name Rachna Garg crossed his mind, he immediately snapped and declared Rachna Agarwal possessively. He didn't realize when he said something out loud until she questioned, "Yes?"
"What?" he asked confused.
"Arre baba, you just said 'Rachna Agarwal', so I answered, it's my name na?" she playfully went along with a smile that melt his heart.
"Of course it's yours sweetheart," he promptly replied with a lingering kiss on her forehead. But she was waiting for further explanation.
"I was just reminiscing about that day you became Mrs. Rachna Rajeev Agarwal," he reached down to capture her sensuous lips this time.
As they broke the passionate kiss, they entwined their fingers and spoke in sync with faraway, pleasant looks on their faces.
"You were the most beautiful dulhaan," he stated, with a smile at the picture his mind created.
She blushed, "You were so handsome on that white horse!" she giggled and sighed, "'like a dream," he heard her conclude.
His heart flipped at the appraisal. He was indeed a doting husband, he loved her immensely and she had become a piece of him without any effort. Right from the beginning when it was decided that they would get married to the day they bought a little white cottage for themselves. It was, of course, nothing much even from their combined salaries as a Hockey coach and a History teacher. But they were content and happy, in the one bedroom and one bathroom home. It gave time and space for each to focus on their career, as well as, time for themselves. She insisted on a spacious garden out front that housed a few vegetables patches and innumerous rose bushes amongst other fragrant flowers.
Three months after Rachna graduated, and was working on her resume to apply at various places to become a History teacher, she bumped into Rajeev at a caf, after lunch with Chhaya and Gunjan. He insisted on some coffee and she couldn't refuse his humble offer. The past three years of her life had flown by in a wink. She had achieved so much and his career had picked up incredibly. She had continued to shine as the star player of his Hockey Team throughout her college life, as well as, maintain her grades, so graduating with a distinction was effortless with her combined curricular and co-curricular activities. But been awarded a prize for her all-rounding spirit had took her as a surprise. And amongst her immediate family members, Rajeev was extremely proud of her. He had managed to keep all growing affections on check and continued to motivate her into a fine young woman that she is.
But even Rachna had a surprise for him, when she thanked him immensely during her speech at the gathering of her Graduation ceremony. She was proud of him, as he was of her. Rajeev had recently accepted the offer to train Hockey students at the National level.
"How is coaching at the National level going?" she asked casually, trying to calm her thumping heart, seeing him in flesh and blood as they sat at a round table in a corner that discreetly blocked the view of the other patrons but have the lovely view of a large aquarium filled with colourful, glorious fishes and just above that was a painting with bright, magical colours and hue splashed across the canvas.
"It's going great! Students are very talented!" he said approvingly. Giving her a once over, he approved on a lot more, he thought.
"That's great!" she painstakingly said as she trailed off.
He got the hint from the response and hurriedly tried to salvage the dying conversation, "so how is it going with you? What are you doing these days?" he added.
"I'm actually applying to be a History teacher at SVC, hopefully, I'll get through," she answered promptly, adding, "I was inspired by a certain teacher." She was now blushing profusely.
I love seeing her blush, he decided. But instead Rajeev said, "that's fantastic news! I hope you get through soon! By the way, who is this teacher?" he teasingly added with a twinkle in his eyes.
Ah! More blushing, he thought happily.
She was fumbling now, "Y'yo'you Sir!" and he was blessed with even more blushing.
"Please we no longer have a student-teacher relationship," he commented good-naturedly, "call me Rajeev, please." From there, they had no idea when the minutes turned to hours. It was until 18:00 hours, did she realize the settling sun creating a havoc of colours against the transparent aquarium. With quick good-byes, exchanged numbers and hasty greetings, they left for their respective homes with a spring in their step and a smile on their faces.
Two weeks later, they met again coincidentally at the college. He was there for some formalities and her, for the job interview. Although they had exchanged numbers the previous meeting, both had been too nervous to make use of it. Now that they are facing each other, Rajeev asked her out to lunch, which she delightfully accepted. Three months passed with constant meetings, coffee, lunch and now, they were having dinner together at the posh Maharaja Restaurant as they devoured the delicious delicacy prepared by the head chef upon Rajeev's request. That night, under the stars and the moon as their witness, they walked in a comfortable silence, which was broken by Rajeev's nervous voice. She was taken by surprise because there was no longer room for nervousness between them.
"May I ask your parents' permission to marry you?" he asked with uncertainty and nervousness.
She was stunned and was gaping at him. Did he just propose? She thought her ears were deceiving her now.
"Pardon me?" she replied with equal nervousness, she had realized.
He decided to change the question, "Will you marry me, Rachna?" he was unsure and was about to get on one knee. But she stopped him, for as much as she dreamt of the whole romantic proposal, she knew theirs was a unique relationship and nothing should be clichd. The guy didn't even have a ring or rose like in the movies, she observed ruefully.
Instead, she blushed crimson and softly replied, "Yes!!!" His happiness knew no bounds, as he picked her up and spun her under the beautiful moonlight. That night, she was unable to sleep, praying that when he came to ask for her hand in marriage the next day, things will finally work out in their favour. And it did in more ways than one, not only was both sides of the marriage party happy, but Valentine's Day was auspicious for the wedding. They couldn't ask for more as they got engaged and married within a month.
Looking at each other one year later, they only saw love and compassion for the other. They were happily in love and married, both had let go and healed each other's past wounds, no stone was left unturned to make the best of everyday.
Playing with her fingers, he whispered, "I love you, Mrs. Rachna Agarwal," he always wanted to reconfirm what he already knew. One should never assume in love, he thought seriously.
Kissing him directly above his heart, she confirmed, for him, "I love you too, jaan," she added mischievously.
But before he could become more naughty than her, she took the cue and asked immediately, "Why did you wish me Happy Valentine's Day first?" she caught him with the random question.
"Huh?" he took a minute to process, "Oh, that's because I know girls like to think Valentine's Day is romantic and everything, so that must take precedence na?" he ended uncertainly.
Instead of answering his query, she playfully shoved him, or attempted to, that is, as she angrily stated, "And how do you know "girls" love this?" her eyes were spitting fire now, "How many did you wish and gave gifts to? OMG! Gifts, where is mine?" she demanded suddenly.
He was in more trouble now, he thought sadly. "The gift will be ready in the morning dear," he attempted to calm his sudden tigress.
She calmed down considerably, he noted with amusement. "Achcha, now you tell me why did you wish Happy Anniversary, first?" he knew he was treading dangerous waters with the question, but he was genuinely curious.
"Because our Anniversary is more important than Valentine's Day," she stated matter-of-factly and his love and respect for this petite woman grew tenfold. She always put him and matters relating to their relationship and him before anything. He grabbed her in a tight hug as they slowly drifted off to sleep. But not before Rachna thought he hadn't asked about his gift. She always loved that trait of him. Materialistic things never mattered, only people and his work was what mattered she thought admiringly.
They both stirred when the sunlight started playing with them and lazily wished each other the greetings all over again. Gifts were exchanged and they got ready for another beautiful day ahead of them as they kissed each other quickly and head off to their respective work places, with the lingering thought of the quiet, candle-lit dinner planned for the evening.

10.00pm
"I can't come today on time. My flight is delayed for 4 hours and my wallet is stolen"CLICK. The call ended. It was my husband Rajeev Agarwal. He was calling from the Airport. He went for the National hockey Championship for colleges in Mumbai. We have been married for almost six months. Our marriage itself was a big drama.
When vVhaan ji refused to marry me on our so called grand wedding, I was disheartened .T o save the reputation of my and his family, Rajeev ji-Vihaan ji's brother,my hockey teacher, my first crush became the ultimate one to put the mangalsutra on me. Vhaan ji made a big drama there accusing my dear Gunjan for all the fault. All the fake evidences pointed towards Gunjan which was spiced up by the wonderful drama put up vihaan. And I fell for that trap. Later only I knew that it was all preplanned by the cunning and sly vihaan. It was brought out by Gunjan.I felt very guilty for disbelieving her.It was Rajeev ji who made me overcome it.Now Gunjan is happily living with Amma in Banaras. She is now engaged to Mayank.
I am on my way to my no no "our flat". It is near my college. It is not too big but perfect for us both. That is when Rajeev ji called from the airport. Today was a special day-a day for lovers VALENTINE'S DAY.it was our first but sadly god didn't want us to be together today. What to do''
Now I am on my way to go to our flat after staying in my house for almost two weeks and I am halfway through my journey when I received the call. Now I have to wait for another 6 hours. All my wonderful plans were ruined. I already started missing my choti sweet home and more than that my husband.
Only I knew the child in him.He lost his mother at a very young age.So I was like his mother at times, his friend sometimes, his pyaari jaanu at those naughty times.Marriage is not only the time when one becomes the owner of many things-jewels,dress,money exclusively yours. The most precious possession that has become yours is your husband. You have a whole person for yourself. In the middle of a dark night or in the dewy morning you can rest your head on his chest, box his ears or pull his hair in a naughty mood. You own him as much as he owns you.
Thinking about my husband I went for a short nap with a smile on my face. With in no time I reached my flat.I hate to go in it without my husband by my side. Only 6 more hours know?I have to wait to see my beloved'''''''...
I slowly reached my flat in the 5th floor.501-OUR ROOM.i opened the door.Suddenly I was hugged by someone from behind. Scared by the turn of events,I screamed. But a hand covered over my mouth.I knew the owner of that hand'''..the warmth from his hand brought chills to my body. Atlast he was back.It was my husband-Meri Rajeev ji. He came in front with a smile and gave me a bouquet of red roses-the most beautiful roses I have ever seen.I was jumping with joy.But he did not say anything and just lead me forward. It made me go still. The entire house was decorated with candles and roses and in the middle was a beautiful heart shaped cake."HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY" and he placed a kiss on my forehead.I rested my head on his chest.I was happy for the surprise but more happy for being with my dear hubby.I felt like time standing still for a moment. I didn't feel like leaving him.I was clinging to him as if my mere existence depends on it.
I don't know when we broke apart.but when we did,my face changed into a frown."So why did you lie to me.I don't want the cake"I whined like a small kid. "I thought you will be happy. That is why I lied.otherwise I will lie to you or what my jaanu?"Saying this he put his hands on his ears and said sorry. It felt funny when one's husband shows his inner childlike behavior .I laughed and forgave him as usual.
Our marriage was not the perfect dream wedding. My suhagrath turned out to be a disaster. It was as if Bakra Nangal dam broke. Atlast after all my rona dhona,Rajeev ji stayed in the hall for making me comfortable. Where can I get such a good husband? This tradition continued till I excepted our marriage and went forward with the next step. From then on it has always been the perfect marriage. We fight but we patch up within an hour, we talk a lot, share our dreams, encourage each other and be there for one another.
Then we cut the cake and talked a lot about his team winning, his trip, his missing me a lot and a lottt''''. More.
"so what to eat? I am hungry."I asked. "You only told know I should never ever enter the kitchen "Rajeev replied. o I forgot. That day how can I forgot it? The one and only day he entered the kitchen. A fire broke out because of it and the mess he made that day. I had to work day and night to clear that mess."So what should we do.I cant sit here being hungry" I replied. " kk then come we can go to one place. A perfect place for us to eat"
We left the place and started walking hand in hand. after 10 minutes of walk still we didnt reach ."I s this in Uganda or what? I cant walk any more" I stood there firmly with a frown in my face. My dear come ,it is there pointing towards my favorite dhabha. My childhood is hidden behind that shop. I still remember that day when I used to come here with pihu didi. Those where the days. It gives me a lot of nostalgia. My husband knows what to do to bring that smile on my face. That is him, my soulmate. I told him thanks. We both went there and munched all the those delicious and tasty foods only dhabha can offer. all that pani puris, bhel puris''''kulfi. We both completely raided the dhabha and once again became kids. Time flied like something no one knew.
"I cant eat anymore ji. You win.k Only this time.next Time I will surely win." I told. Rajeev ji showed that mischievous triumph smile like those choti choti shaitains. He paid and we left the place.
A silence filled the atmosphere. Silence is the speech of love.It often has the strongest voice. It never betrays you. It brings soulmates together. Breaking the silence he enquired "You enjoyed ?"."yes" I replied."Why are you silent then?""Nothing I was just thinking the days we were living together. We never excepted to be together. But destiny did. When you went to Mumbai you took my heart with you. Icould'nt think anything except about you.You are precious to me.You only likes to make me smile even when you are hurt. You never discourage me.Y ou are always by my side. I have not given to you as much as you gave, but you still love me.I can only say something which I have not said to you till now, I LOVE YOU"tears were flowing from my eyes.I have never confessed my feelings to him till now.I felt a huge burden taken from me. But His reply stunned me "I know you'll find it hard to believe me if I tell you now how much you mean to me. I could hardly understand what I feel for you, knowing how to endure those long sleepless nights just thinking only of you in those last two weeks .I just don't know how to pour out my feelings for you. I wanted to find the perfect words to make you realize how much I need you and love you, but words continue to elude me. I'm afraid it's no use; every time I look at you, the words came out the same' I love you!"tears flowed endlessly from his eyes.He cupped my face bring his face closer to me ,I closed my eyes, tears flowing endlessly from both the sides. Soon as if hearing our call'it started raining. It was as if god himself finally listened our prayer, washing off our sorrows, for our strong journey together forever and ever.
I was waiting for so long
For a miracle to come
Everyone told me to be strong
Hold on and don't shed a tear
Through the darkness and good times
I knew I'd make it through
And the world thought I had it all
But I was waiting for you
Hush, now, I see a light in the sky
Oh, it's almost blinding me
I can't believe I've been touched by an angel
With love
Let the rain come down and wash away my tears
Let it fill my soul and drown my fears
Let it shatter the walls for a new sun
A new day has come
Where it was dark now there's light
Where there was pain now there's joy
Where there was weakness I found my strength
All in the eyes of a boy
celine dion-a new day has come
