The guy from Liyba..........well that story came about when we were selling a property and they posed as potential buyers BUT when they came to view the property this IS what they told us.........that he was a prince from Liyba and his mum was in a refugee camp etc......His mum even sent us a letter via fax addressed to her so-called Prince son.........saying she has the money hidden etc etc........They wanted R18000.00 about $3000 to clear the shipment.........They even lied about staying at a local hotel..........when we called there was nobody by that name........

We didnt buy the story though.........every thing they said was a lie.....

Rules on using the web:

If you received attachments from unknown people DO NOT OPEN THEM

Install a good Antivirus software and Internet security software

Do not give your emails ids to all sundry

Create another e-mail account for 4rum and chat sites

Update your antivirus and internet security frequently

Do not give away credit card numbers unencrypted

Dont store your password on your computer

Use the spam control provided by your internet provider or the one in the antivirus

Trust me even big companies get hacked and their entire networks come to a grinding halt just because of one ignorant person

Dont go to meet a person whom you met on the internet alone. If you decide to do so, inform someone where you are going and whom you are going to meet

Bottom Line: The Internet World is not a safe place for the Naive and the ignorant!!!
