Apologies for a mile-long title, but it's the only thing that could encapsulate best what I was going to say here, and what I both LOVED about the episode and was made a little sad by, in it. Swayam says to Sharon as they stand in the water, agar mera naam pehle liya hota toh yeh sab kuch nahin hota...and while we hear what that line means literally, it also says something a little more than literal to us as viewers. That if she takes his name now, she might be spared a lot of pain and struggle. This was one thing I LOVED, so very symbolic and so signature SwaRon. But what made me sad was that we hear it, but Sharon doesn't. We understand it, but Sharon doesn't.
Her planning on dancing just to prove to Swayam that he means nothing to her is also so ironic, because she's doing it because he means something to her. We see that and understand it...but will Swayam see and understand too?
If only...sigh.
But nevertheless, BEAUTIFUL SwaRon moments tonight, whether it be the light-hearted beach almost-hug or the more serious store-room conversation. Shantanu was OUTSTANDING in the latter, for me, particularly, and so was Vrushika. LOVING these two and because of them loving SwaRon even more. Touchwood to that. 👏
