If there were to be a perfect adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, which Bollywood actors would you like to see as Elizabeth and Darcy? There has been more than one adaptation in Hollywood and there is Bride and Prejudice as well which am not particularly fond of..Moreover, there are several Indian shows which are but poor imitations of the classic..So whom do u think makes for the perfect Elizabeth and Darcy?

P.S..I for one cant think of any actor who can do justice to Austin's best creation till date i.e.Mr. Darcy

Priyanka Chopra is the only name that comes into mind from Bwood when talking about Elizabeth Bennet-- smart, witty, proud, strong-willed with mind of her own. She would fit the role to the T.

As for Darcy... hmm.. it's difficult to find an actor who can do brooding, sophisticated, prejudiced but still sexy really well. After seeing him in a dark and brooding role in Agneepath, maybe Hrithik Roshan? Or maybe Milind Soman (if only he could act better.) Looks wise, he's perfect for Darcy.

Other actors are either too old, or too young or won't suit the role or Priyanka. IMO

Aish for Elizabeth

reason I picked these two actors: Aish and SRk are the best actors we have in romantic roles at least in my opinion.

No no no...let's keep PnP away from Bollywood please. God knows we might end up with some Iss Pyaar version of it. 😲🤢😳

I can't think of anyone in Bollywood suiting the roles of Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy...

Well, SRK and Vidya would be apt for an older version of PnP...but ahhh I don't wanna think about how some writers would screw this up so badly.
