The interview indeed was a very nice one, carried forward efficiently by Sanaya. I love how clear and articulate she is in expressing her views about everything, she never minces her words.

Sanaya's presence indeed lights up the screen, and I was so glad to see her smiling again.

Gul was fine too, with her little mumbled 'Hmms' and 'yeahs'. I felt that if it weren't for Sanaya's effervescence, the interview would have turned awkward.

I LOVED how she discussed IPK and her rapport with Barun so happily, made me miss our show a hell lot more. It was a phenomenon, indeed.

The only thing that put me off was Gul bringing up the controversies and bashing yet again. I yayed at Sanaya's answer as she didn't linger on the topic and moved on.

Overall, a nice interview only because of a certain Sanaya Irani, for whom my respect increases every time I see her.

Agree that gul needn't have brought in the bashing part again, but lets try to see it from her point of view. It is common knowledge that Gul often visted IF. Now if we recall the kind of bad things that were being said abt Gul during the whole contrversy, they sometimes even crossed decency. Its natural that Gul was upset, when it wasnt her fault.

So probably now that things have cooled down and also the picture clear, she just wanted to clarify things. She dint directly say anything but it must have been a sore pont with her. Let us not be insensitive to her. She certainly did not deserve all those horrid comments.

Sanaya was frank and straightforward in the interview.Always love her for that.Totally agree with you she handled the interview very well.

Thanks to Gul for chosing Sanaya to play the role of Khushi. Gul seems to keep a tab on IF and the interview was clearly to clear her name , she brought the controversy issue again which was handled very well by sanaya-kudos to her for that.

PS:Always wondering why does Gul has to sit on the armrest always-might be her comfortable place in the entire sofa set.

the next thing i loved after sanaya's interview is the way you have analysed her interviews..you have covered all the points so perfectly..that there's nothing more i could say..
i know this girl will never fail to amaze me with her interviews..not that she is a versatile actress but most importantly a very genuine human being..
truly one rare kind of a celeb in the television industry..

and regarding the controversy point i slightly disagree with you..because combining both the interviews i felt its about the journey of IPK..so when they started with the dori scene they will reach upto IPK ending too..and IPK ending is invariably linked with controversies..
but the way sanaya handled the question is commendable..and hats off to her for once again speaking up for her colleagues and producer when she does not even need to..but she is caring and daring enough to speak up..
she is always so clear and concise!!!
all my love and respect to her!!!
