Was Hiten Just A Cameo???

Guys..I am thinking did Ekta use Hiten only to attract people and increase TRP of KAA?he isnt seen much on the show these days anyways..While at one end we r dying to see Shiv & Gauri together I am sure the xtramarital affair will not setin b/w Gauri & Hiten .But Ektamai serials are so unpredictable anything can happen !!what say?
