It just realized- t's the earring. Asad knows because of the earring, he knows that Zoya said it was her mother's only nishani. I don't think he knows any of the details though. Dilshad wouldn't break Zoya's trust like that.

He's still a dick for saying what he did though, and Zoya needs to give him a really hard time.
