Moderators - I had to post this as a new topic because the WU thread seems to have been closed.You can merge my post with WU thread if possible and close this thread if that is possible.
It showed mirror to DS and Basant and to an extent Jagya.đ.I could stomach the episode mainly because of the satisfaction of seeing DS and Basant uncomfortable.
Ganga's story was gut wrenching.First she was betrayed by fate which took away her parents and second time when she started living with her mama and mami there was a betrayal her mami sold her off to a man who was twice her age in the name of getting her married by telling her that she will have a life of a princess in that house.
Her mother in law introduced her to reality by showing her the mirror- a life of slavery made to work like a slave doing the domestic work during day time and as a s*x slave to a man who called himself her husband.Her days were long and nights even longer.All this when she was what 12 -13 years old?
She seemed like a scared cat forced to protect herself from wild animals.If left longer in that house she would have probably forgotten that she is a human being too.The softness in her has been buried deep probably.If she had not had her child that softness and human nature would have been buried permanently.I am glad for the child she had even it is a product of a r*pe.The baby kept the human inside her alive and restored her capability to love someone.Her child forced her to get a better life for herself and her child.
The third betrayal she suffered was because of Jagya.Though it was not his fault he was not there when she needed his help.It must have a taken a lot for her to pick up the phone and make that call to Jagya.Brave woman she is after losing faith in humanity she still found enough courage to ask a fellow human being for help.And help came a little late.
I am glad DS and Basant saw themselves in Ratan and his family.The victims of DS and Basant were too absorbed in the story of Ganga.Two strong women who fought their battles and won their battles and they are at peace.It was DS who had FBs of her treatment of Anandi.
Anandi dialogues again were not upto the mark.Agreed she was trying to tell her she understands the pain of seeing her dreams of childhood being shattered and how you will be full of self pity at that time and how one can overcome these with the help of family.But I think these should have been left for later for a one to one talk.That would be more effective.
For now the talk should have been confined to reassuring her that they will try and get her baby for her.
I don't know why Anandi said that her husband will help her in getting the baby back though.When she herself has done that for Phooliđ
I liked the way she introduced her husband.Probably she was trying to tell her that he is powerful enough to take on the might of RAT an Co.
Jagya connected with Ganga and her so strongly because he saw Anandi in her and saw Ratan in himself when he realised that she had no family support he wanted be her support.His urge to rid himself of the Ratan in himself and also possibly because he found his Anandi in her may be the reasons for his desire to help her.
As for Anandi probably it will help her see a side of Shiv and an aspect of her marriage that she not able to face.She already knows how different Shiv is from J.
But I don't think either J and A are aware of Gehna's story as they were small kids at that time.This aspect of Ganga's marriage would help her realise the kind of man Shiv is and make her more aware of his rights in the marriage.I am sure this will help A in a positive way.
SJ rocked.She made it seem that all those atrocities happened to her with her superb emoting skills.But one thing I think she needs to do is work on her dialogue delivery considering she is speaking in a dialect which she probably is not very comfortable with.She should take tips from Surekhaji who speaks in the same dialect in the story.
DS and Basant their expressions were bang on with just their expressions they wer able to convey what is going on their minds.They are truly brilliant actors.
