I too feel that the shock shown by Anandi on hearing that Ganga is a child bride is OTT. The shock would be more believable if Ganga recounted the barbaric behaviour of her in-laws and husband - that would shock anybody !!!
@Nniks. I got that A was trying to connect via her worst pain with Ganga.I also get that she was sad to see G too was a victim of BV, but my point is - is that so shocking ? Stopping young gairls getting married even today is a priority, but those who were married a couple of years ago, like when she was - or Phooli was, or Sugna was- i mean- wasn't the whole Jaitser's womenfolk married as a kid ? That happens to be a prevalent custom of the area and sadness is accepted but SHOCK ?? Isn't that a bit OTT from Anandi ?Cheer up Ganga, concentrate on positives and not sit down and start sharing your own sob story...atleast that's what I felt. And I continue to hope that after today's long face - she will put on her cheerful face and say - we'll fix it all and make it good for you 😉⭐️
Pre- marriage, Anandi was working hard to stop evils like child marriage and she knew that her effort was just a beginning and that it was prevalant in other villages. I hope the CVs handle this sensibly and create a strong story by showing how Anandi helps Ganga get her rights back. I don't want Anandi to start thinking of her own past and wallow in self pity now..
