WOW!😊

I must be dense!!!😔😉

It took me 3 watches to make out why Asad hit Zoya.
What i mean is, YES. I was here on the forum yesterday defending the slap- and I KNEW ASAD was JUSTIFIED in that fit of rage...

But now I get what was Asad's thought process.

After that WONDERFUL WONDERFUL talk with Tamatar, Asad does not even meet Zoya's eyes. He ignores her completely.
He needs a moment of solitude for the facts to sink in. He has been that pillar of support for Najma- who is fearful of the future...and he himself is too..What was happening to his Ammi?

And the events of the day replayed in his mind...(Not necessarily in the order it had occurred.)
First, Dilavar had come to his OFFICE and THREATENED him.

The next thing he remembers is the phone call he had made...Ammi had picked it up and HER LAST WORDS were,"Asad, Ek minute, betaa..." and "Mariammm..."

MARIAM!
How did Ammi know about Mariam?

Is that how Zoya had obeyed his orders?

So, she had confessed to his Ammi about Mariam and got her permission to stay?

WAS THIS Ms. NEW YORK'S WAY OF PROVING HER POINT???😡😡😡

And when he had asked her about Mariam, she had SIMPLY LIED THROUGH HER TEETH?
She had said Mariam had left?
If Ms. New York thought he was orthodox and judgemental...he really did not care.
But DID SHE DARE DISOBEY his orders?
After what she had put him through already?
Did she not know she was PLAYING WITH FIRE HERE?
And her precious FEMINISM was GOING TO COST HIM HIS DEAR AMMI'S LIFE?

She had something coming for her when the lion roared!!!

For when the LION IS PUSHED BEYOND HIS LIMITS,
He does not see...
He does not think...
He does not roar...

He simply TEARS APART...

Zoya is lucky she escaped with a slap...that was because she was a woman!
Remember what he did to Haseens Bi's brother for terrorising Ayan?

And Ammi is MUCH MUCH more than Ayan- He had himself told Ayan that, the previous night...

What a beautiful episode!👏
What a gripping story!!! 👏

Dear QHians,
Do comment (activity! activity!😉 )and if you did not see what I am trying to describe here, would you please watch it again?

For this tale deserves that kind of SERIOUS VIEWING!🤓

Fiction doesn't exist in a bubble. It is informed by and informs society. People are allowed to be terrible in fiction as long as the text acknowledges their terribleness. Afaik, Asad is the hero of the show. The writers didn't show his abuse in a wrong light. The people here are defending it. Besides, if fictional shows are never supposed to be taken seriously, why exactly have you been arguing about it to the point of being in a condition where you need to take pills? Practice what you preach, perhaps?
There is nothing to explain. Violence is violence. It is defined by a person's actions, not people's perception of it.

So irresponsible of the producers and so out of character for Asad Ahmed Khan.
Thereafter the slap is downplayed by a cut to a hand, a wound that can be seen and therefore causes pain compared to a slap that leaves no evidence of the hurt inflicted.
EVEN MORE SCARY ARE THE WOMEN WHO ARE JUSTIFYING THIS ACT.
Worldwide, violence against women is rife and should be condemned.

I agree with everything you said. I especially was shocked at the part in red because so many people on this forum support or justify Asad's behavior and its just ludicrous. People believe if a woman does something wrong she deserves to be slapped and that is the problem. Women will consistently try to blame women for the pain that is being inflicted upon them. I just want to know what the point of Asad's slap was. I mentioned this in another post, but does Asad slapping Zoya bring his mom back to life and reverse the mess that has been created? I don't think so! He slapped her so viciously. Seemed as if he would have gone for a second round if she had said something more. Zoya needs to stay away from Asad and stop talking to him. I don't understand what the hell kind of a message the show is trying to provide. All I have been able to see from the start till now in this show is a man being completely unfair and prejudice toward a woman. I still thought, whatever this is just a show and I am just going to watch it for entertainment purposes but I am not entertained when producers are showing women to be submissive and showing a woman being physically abused by the man she is to fall in love with. Seems like Asad can deliver his point to Zoya while keeping his hands to himself. Either he has to push her against a wall and hover over her or put a gun to her face or better yet slap her and shut her up. Disgusting! Zoya was hiding from him? I would have given him a cold shoulder and refused to speak to him and would definitely not hide from him.

These same women have a tremendous issue when you point out that it is not OK for men to slap women. They have practically risen up in arms ready to cut you down if you make that comment.

The point is that many females do not realize that this is unacceptable behavior and we should not be endorsing it because we like the show, KSG or even the character Asad.

What is worse, we are seeing a downplay for the need for an apology, redemption and even the recognition that this behavior is wrong. What we have seen here the romanticism of the slap and how this "wonderful incident" will promote a romance between these two characters. 😕

You have hit the spot. 👏

I think a lot of people are okay with the slap because of KSG being their favorite. Favorite or not what he did in the show by slapping Zoya is not justified. We need to separate the character from the actor and then ask, is it okay for a man to slap a women. But judging from the things people are saying on this forum I think many people would say "Yes, it is okay to slap a women if she is in the wrong." I believe that, no matter the gender you do not need to raise your hand or perform any act of violence unless your life is in danger. Unnecessary violence should be avoided at all cost. Manhandling in Indian shows has become the biggest form of romance. When a guy pushes a girl against the wall and stands in close proximity of her people find it so "romantic". I am not sure how many of those people would find such a thing romantic in real life if someone cornered them into a wall as angry as these man are when they corner the female leads.

Then we have people saying he will apologize in due time. Just because later on he will find out that Zoya was not wrong and apologize to her doesn't mean that he should condone such acts in the first place. An apology will definitely not make me forget that the producers showed the male lead slapping the female lead and then they fell in love. If the guy is abusing you before you are even in a relationship I am not sure how great he will be when you are together. In real life someone who abused you will most likely end up treating you the same way. Why promote falsehood? Many people really believe that one day they will find the love of their life in the same manner as these shows. 😕

My take on it. Violence should not be an option. It happened so now we have to move on. Asad has to learn from it and move on. Zoya should not allow him to get away with it easily though, and for those who thinks her silence is a weakness, i disagree, its her strength.

Great Show today, i cried...(at work too)

I think Zoya should leave the house now that Dilsad is better and Asad will realise that the reason behind this was Razia and not Zoya...He will so regret...and miss her and the mitwa moments...hehe

Men and women are equal doesn't mean you go around slapping the other gender. Zoya has never been aggressive toward Asad and if she does then we will support Asad as we are supporting Zoya. Of course if Asad is behaving aggressively and pushing and shoving her around basically manhandling her then the slap is not going to be challenged by us. I don't think women in shows just slap men for the sheer joy of it. They are slapped when they misbehave and manhandle them. Asad is always very aggressive with Zoya, how many times has she got up and slapped him?

I agree. I was so disgusted that my direct anger went towards the makers of the show and not the story or the characters. Appalled at 4Ls
