We are all going mad with fury over Asad slapping Zoya, and rightly so. When I first read it that was my very first reaction...
But dont you agree with the brilliant writing here, just few episodes back. He explicitly defined the position of Dilshaad in his life, next to GOD. He loves Ayaan, but told him clearly than mother is still before that and he is what and who because of his mom..
Now today his anger is justified for that statement only. When someones existence is being killed, dont we expect extreme anger???
I would have hated today more if I didnt see that episode or if it came after, but right now, even when I hate him for hitting a woman, I do understand his reason...
So I would really give thumsup to writers here..

I know right, he would've BEATED AYAN if Ayan had done something(not like this) but in some way tried to hurt dilshad. So this IS justifiable.

I dont support physical voilence but i cant blame him becoz he was not in understandable position

and Asad is a flawed character and i am happy that he is not like a god ram character
