I feel that one should not make a huge issue of just plain dancing skills in a show like Nach Baliye, which is also about presentation, glamour ,oomph and so many other factors. All of these contribute to making a performance a total package.
I think both Gauri and Hiten have quite a few pluses like youth , good looks and they make a watchable pair, and that I guess is what this contest also looks for.
If viewers wanted to enjoy only dance then there are lots of classical , pure dance formats , but they want to be thrilled and entertained and I guess that is why the show has oodles of glamour and the Bollywood touch too.
