Nach Baliye doesn't seem to be a hardcore dance competition like Jhalak dikhlaja. Each week we see theme based dances in NB whereas in JDJ it is various forms of dance. In theme based dancing steps could be repeated and expressions are more important to convey the essence of the theme. But in various forms of dance like in JDJ one needs to expertise the concept associated with various dance forms and each form has different step. So basically I think through NB we aren't just voting for the best dancers but also the jodi with best expressions. I don't find anything wrong in here when people vote for jodis which appeal to them. NB is a popularity contest too and that is why we have star couples.

I dont agre withyou. First of all Expression is an integral part of dance. Be it NB or JDJ. So i really didnt understand ur comparison. And if expression is given more importance in NB then Its name would have been Act Baliye not Nach baliye.

Expression is an integral part of dance. Why should the title of the show be changed to act baliye?😕 NB has only theme based dancing not various forms of dance like JDJ. The concept is entirely different. In theme based dancing expression is very important as steps could be repeated.

I agree. But what i want to say is that expressions are imp for any sort of dance. Any kind of dance has its unique expressions. So why r u giving importance to expressions. Its part and parcel of the dance. And do we really look at the expressions of the couple. If yes then why didnt any one come with a topic in this forum in the comic theme week that the couples danced comically. All i saw were topics like OMG so and so was looking so hot.

Expressions are definitely important in all dance forms. But I believe that NB concept also encourages X-factor. I am not sure about the latter part of your post. If members find one jodi HOT then it's their choice. What is wrong in that?
