Children to crack cases in CID
The CID team has been busting crime on the small screen for the past 15 years. And to add more spice to the show, it is now coming up with a special series, 'CID Chote Heroes', where child artistes will be seen cracking cases. Produced by BP Singh, this series will be aired for an hour. That's not all. Starting this week, CID will be aired on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
ACP Pradyuman (Shivaji Satam) and his team will join hands with the young guns, who will help them with investigation. The child artistes joining the cast are Jay Thakkar, Siddharth Gupta, Nikunj and Purti Aggarwal.
This series will begin with the kids discovering a dead body while playing in the neighbourhood. They immediately inform the CID team about it and discover that their friend Micky has been kidnapped by the killer. The kids then help the senior officers unravel the crime.
CID Chote Heroes airs tonight at 9 and CID will air every Friday to Sunday at 10pm on Sony Entertainment Television.
