Today's episode was entirely dedicated to Ekta Kapoor. I have never watched any of her shows right through till the end purely because it is impossible. But character assassinations are her forte and today Zara's swaha was a tribute to a character in a Balaji show.
There was nothing to think about, ponder, or analyze in today's episode. It was that lame. Savita was killed by Zara. Jasveer had a tough job today. Zara had a very convincing motive. A retard was trying to steal her husband! (Aside: Today, when Zara was telling Indira the story of how she was kidnapped, I found Indira's expressions very attentive and apt. I do get confused about how much she understands, but Zara's decision to kill someone like this was stupid).
For a police officer to use a stick to club someone on the head and then leave it lying there is plain stupid. Maybe someone on the writing team should do some research that shows how smart police officers commit crime. They get caught eventually, but they do not use stupid methods. This is the stuff of good thrillers. Sorry, the PH does not understand 'good'.
Rati had a field day today. It was her all the way and she played a negative character without using any of the irritating mannerisms that other actresses give a vamp.
I have only one question: was this twist essential to the story? If this is merely to give Rati rest, then I really don't know what to say. Except that to kill a nice and positive character is a shame.
Now I am going to harp on the same things, so whoever does not want to be bored can please stop reading.
Did they have a proper story in mind when they brought in Zara? Did they know how they wanted to end this track? Or did they just wake up one day and decide that Zara would be a murderer? And what about Rishi and his rooh? Wonder if they will make Rishi commit murder someday. But no...he is the lead and has to be positive. None other than Indira Sharma and Rishi Kumar (and their offspring) can be positive. So instead, maybe they'll get him to marry a fourth time. Maybe he'll even procreate and give us another Indu.
In all this, maybe we should all be glad that they did not make Indu or Seher commit murder. That would be the limit!
