why is parvati projected so weakly

i love romance but not like this ,the way parvati is shown demanding attention and saying u should attend me first then world,always mahadev has to face dharm sankat between his wife and devotee,world

If she was weak could she have demanded attention from Mahadev. She is his wife and only a wife can demand attention form her husband. Just like he is a powerful God and has to attend to the whole world so as a husband he cannot just cannot stay from his responsibilities as a husband. Parvati was right she needed that time from her husband. It was not mark of weakness but strength. She also understood when he had to go at the time of need.

I agree with Ranjusha. Parvati is the strong role played in the serial. We need to take all good things from the serial. I would also like to say thanks to Life Ok for showing such beautiful episodes in Devon ke dev Mahadev.

In My view.. she was projected more human. Family comes first. She had given up a lot as a goddess for the betterment of this universe. All she is asking now is a right of a wife. Again it is just another POV. No story you hear or see will be with out moral conflict. That is what makes it more human.. :)

well asking for attention is another thing but telling to put her first over everything is too much. this is not a regular husband wife issue.. mahadev's duties to world and his devotees comes first. why do you think mahadev is always so content and happy. he def loves his family esp parvati but it does not consume to the extent that he gets caught up in moh maya. love and moh are two different things. parvati is trying to make him give up his vairagya completely. mahadev is considered to be the supreme example of being a complete vairagi and sansari. may be that is the reason cvs are continuing this track.

May be because Paravti had to be born twice to unite with Shivji. She was seperated once from Ardhanarishwar form, then as Sati. She is the active energy in all living beings, so Moha or being aasakta is just one of her nature of Shakti. If she too becomes anasakta like Shivji then they wouldn't have united, there would have been no creation to begin with. She is with him after may sacrifices,seperations, tough penance to get himback as her husband. This is part of the Leela, going on in the World. May be to tell Shivji see how strongly your devotee needs you, you are needed here too.

well i dnt think she is portrayed weak..if she had insisted on Mahadev staying inspite of his Bhakts calling, THEN it wud have been petty...but she dint..she has not even once put herself before his Bhakts..all she asks is tht Mahadev does not let go of his responsibilities as a husband and father while looking after the world..and frankly i think its an issue surpassing all time and situations..u see the woman of the house putting in all efforts to keep the family together, whether she is a housewife or a working woman...and if she expects her husband to give time to the family, it aint wrong..
