'Can't stop praising' Shakti Mohan: VD and Basu

Beautiful belle Shakti Mohan, winner of Dance India Dance season 2 and earlier seen in Dil Dostii Dance on Channel V, recently launched her 2013 calendar called 'Nritya Shakti' and has got an overwhelming response from masses for the same.

Shakti and her sisters Neeti and Mukti, have always been in the news for their dancing and singing skills. And undoubtedly, they have a huge fan following in television and Bollywood too.

Now, it is time for the Mohan sisters to rejoice as recently Neeti won the Black Lady at the recently held Filmfare awards for her song 'Jiya Re' from Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

We got in touch with Shakti and asked her how does it feel that her sister has won the prestigious award. She said, "I am really happy that Neeti won a Filmfare award for her song. When the names of Neeti and Ayushmann were announced, no one appreciated or cheered. It was only we who completely ganged up and started yelling," Shakti averred.

So what kind of response are you getting from your 2013 calendar? "Well, I am getting a tremendous response for my calendar. In fact, during Filmfare awards, Anurag Basu (director of Barfi) saw me and without any 'Hi' and 'Hello' he just said that 'This year calendar was better than that of the earlier year'. Not only this, Varun Dhawan (Student of the Year) came to me and said that he is a big fan of me. Hearing this, I was completely bowled over and happy to get such a kind of response from masses," she maintained.
