The Haunted Chronicles #2 - Nazar Lag Gayi Hai

Pratap talks to Jeet about his marriage with Rano. Jeet is confused about his feelings. In this confusion he goes to meet Anamika. He finds her by the lake but she is very ill. He picks her up & takes her home. While nursing her Jeet accidently cuts his hand on a broken piece of glass. Anamika, on seeing the blood, gets a powerful urge to taste it but with great difficulty she manages to control her urge. She sends Jeet away to another room where he might find some medicines for his wound. However when Jeet leaves she picks up the broken glass which has some drops of his blood & is about to lick off the blood. But Jeet arrives just then & when he touches her lip accidently some blood from his finger is transferred to her lip. When he is about to wipe it off with his kerchief she sends him away. As soon as he leaves she licks the blood off her lips. The blood travels down her throat to her burnt hand & within seconds her hand is back to being normal.

Jeet tries to start the car but it doesn't start. It is raining heavily. When he sees in the side mirror he sees Anamika enjoying herself in the rain. He gets out of the car & as if in a trance goes & hugs Anamika. At home Rano is praying to Matarani that Jeet will return home soon. And because of her prayers the rain stops & Jeet comes to his senses & leaves for his home.

Later Jeet goes to Ranos place & tells her indirectly that he doesn't love her & hence can't marry her. At the same time Rano sees that there is a wound on his wrist. She makes him take off his bracelet so that she can dress up his wound. After the dressing Jeet leaves but forgets the bracelet at Ranos place.

Rano is hurt to know that Jeet doesn't wish to marry her but as his happiness matters the most to her she decides to forget the whole thing. She finds Jeets bracelet on the coffee table but when she checks it she sees that it is some other bracelet. The one she had given him had R & J engraved on it. However this new bracelet doesn't have it. Rano thinks Jeet has been lying to her about finding the bracelet when in reality he just replaced it with a new one.

The bracelet which Rano had given Jeet is with Anamika. It is shown that Anamika had replaced this bracelet with an enchanted one when it had first fallen off Jeets wrists the very first time he had seen her in the forest. She had been controlling Jeet through this bracelet.

However now that the bracelet is off Jeets wrist he is free from her spell and after some talks with Bebe he realizes that he does love Rano. He goes to meet Anamika and tells her that he is sorry for his strange behavior in the past. Anamika is furious to know that she no longer controls Jeets decisions and his life. Next he goes home & tells everyone that he is ready to marry Rano.

On the night of Lori Rano asks him about the bracelet. But he says that he hasn't changed the bracelet. Not believing him Rano angrily throws the bracelet into the burning fire thus destroying Anamikas charm over Jeet completely. Anamika is unable to control Jeet after this. She is furious! On the night of Lori Jeet tells Rano that he is ready to marry her.

The next day Anamika casts a spell over Chiku. Through Chiku she can hear & see everything that is going on in the Saluja house. When Chiku sees Jeet, Anamika is so pissed off at him that she attacks him through Chiku &Chiku tries to bite him. Balraj takes away the dog to see a vet but everyone is puzzled at his strange behavior.
