Part 24

ETF Office

Everybody is busy with usual work. The lawyer's murder case has been hand overed to ETF. The day had almost ended.

Shree : "Rosh! Chal aaj main tujhe drop kar deta hu!"
Roshni : "Thanks"
Rathor : "Ek min! Tum kaha ja rahe ho? Tumhe jo account details dene ko kaha tha wo mujhe ab tak nhi mili hai.."
Shree : "Sir wo main... kal deta hu na!"
Rathor : ""Kal kya hota hai! Jab tak wo nhi dete, tab tak yaha se nhi jaoge.."
Roshni : "Its ok Shree! Main apne aap chali jaungi!"

Roshni was waiting at the bus stop. Arjun stops the SUV in front of her and ask her to get in. The silence breaks with Roshni's voice.

Roshni : "Sir...wo..I am sorry sir..Main janti hu mujhe aise wo file nhi dekhni chahiye thi. Bt wo... main us case k bare me janna chahti thi..."
Arjun (tighten his grip on steering wheel) : "Plz! Ye lift tumhe sirf isiliye di gai hai kyuki public transports ki strike hai.."
Roshni : "Sir mujhe meri galti ka ahsaas hai aur main guilty feel kar b rahi hu. I just wanted to tell u that I am really sorry.."

Arjun doesnt say anything and keeps driving the car. He stops the car in front of Roshni's apartments.

Roshni : "Sir m really sorry. Plz sir.."
Arjun : "Get down!... Now!"
Roshni : "But sir.."

Arjun unbuckles his seat belt, gets down from the car and goes towards Roshni's side. He opens the car's door.

Arjun (holds her hand) : "Utro!"

Both were arguing and then suddenly they hear a loud scream,"AAAHHH".

Arjun : "Ye aawaaz to upar se aayi hai"

Both ran upstairs. People were gathered near a flat. Roshni knew whose flat it was and she was just hoping everything to b fine there.

Arjun : "Hatiye plz! Hum log ETF se hai. Jaane dijiye...Kya hua hai? Kaun chillaya tha?"
Lady : "Wo main chilaayi thi..waha par ek laash hai!"
Roshni (screams) : "ANIKAAA"

Hearing her scream, Arjun ran inside the flat. He saw a shocked Roshni standing against the wall.

Arjun : "Roshni! Kya hua? Tum jaanti ho ise? Roshni!"
Roshni : "Gia! Gia!"

Roshni ran to the bedroom to search for her, and then to other rooms but didnt find her. Arjun was amazed by her sudden reaction. He stopped her.

Arjun : "Kisse dhoondh rahi ho tum?"
Roshni (teary eyes) : "Oh my god! Gia kaha gayi?"
Arjun : "Gia kaun hai?"
Roshni (perplexed) : "Ye kya ho gaya? Sir main...oh my god! Anika! Gia! Main kya karu.."
Arjun : "Relax! Relax! U just sit here. Ye lo paani pee lo! "

Roshni was constantly murmuring Anika's and Gia's name. Arjun was not getting wat all was happening. He tried to talk to her but she was just not listening to him. Arjun made a call to Rathor and then talked with the other residents in the building. Soon the team was there.

Rathor : "Kaun hai ye?"
Arjun : "Ms. Anika Mehra. Apni 6 saal ki beti k saath yaha rehti thi."
Rathor : "Husband?"
Arjun : "Single mother"
Shree : "Sir khoon kitchen knife se hua hai. Rosh! Mera bag pass karna!"

But Roshni doesnt respond. She was sitting numb and motionless.

Rathor : "Roshni!"
Arjun : "Shock me hai! Neighbours bata rahe hai ki Roshni aur Anika acche dost the. Aur ab Anika ki beti Gia b gayab hai. Roshni ka dono se bahot attachment tha. Ek baar Roshni thodhi normal ho jaye fir hume Anika aur Gia k bare me kafi information mil sakti hai"
Rathor : "Shree! Chotu! Roshni ko baad me dekhna! Pehle pura ghar acchi tarah se talaash karo!"

Shree and Chotu starts serching the house and Arjun and Rathor were trying to get information from the neighbours. But then Shree comes shouting from the kitchen.

Shree : "Sir! Wo kitchen cabinet me se..."
Rathor : "Kya hua? Kya mila?"
Chotu : "Sir!"

Chotu was holding an unconcious small Gia in his huge arms. Arjun recognizes her from the beach. Roshni saw her and immediately ran towards her.

Roshni : "Gia! Gia! Baby aankhe kholo! Plz! Kya hua ise?"
Arjun (holding her) : "Roshni plz! Wo sirf behosh hai! Use hospital le jaane do."
Rathor : "Control urself Roshni! Shree plz Roshni ko sambhalo!"
Roshni : "Plz sir mujhe b jaana hai..plz"

Roshni was crying and seeing that Arjun was feeling uneasy. He allowed her to go with them. After sometime Anika's body too was sent for autopsy. Her flat was also sealed by the ETF. Rathor and Arjun then went to the hospital.

Rathor : "Gia kaisi hai?"
Shree : "Theek hai sir! Suffocation ki wajah se behosh ho gayi thi shayad."
Arjun : "Aur Roshni?"
Shree : "Wo... theek hai sir...I mean ab normal hai..but thodhi..."
Rathor : "Hmmm I can understand..Ab mujhe yaad aa raha hai.. Roshni ne ek bar zikr kiya tha...it was the only family here for her... Abi kaha hai wo?"
Shree : "Gia k rum me..Aap kahe to bulau?"
Arjun : "Nhi..use wahi rehne do. Hume thodha tym dena chahiye use. Case k liye pressure banana theek nhi hoga."

Arjun then moves towards Gia's ward and look from the window's glass an always jovial Roshni sitting all silent holding Gia's hand.

Maybe she should use a different approach!

and..What...Anika died!!

Poor kid Gia...!!

Rosh is too attached with the family, i guess she will take care of the kid from now on! : - ??

Who will take care of rosh then...arjun maybe! 😳

@Disha You know wat Disha...the most difficult situation for Arjun FF writer is...
everyone has got the brains of ETF, suspense ki to watt lag jati hai...the guessing game has begun I guess...
