Ahan Shetty’s team dismisses link-up buzz with Jiya Shankar, calls reports ‘completely baseless’

Speculation about Ahan Shetty and Jiya Shankar’s alleged romance had been making the rounds on social media for several days. However, the Tadap actor’s team has now stepped forward to clarify that there is no truth to the reports.

In a statement addressing the buzz, Ahan’s spokesperson said, “These dating rumours are completely baseless. Ahan isn’t seeing anyone right now — he’s entirely focused on his work. He’s got multiple projects lined up, with Border 2 just around the corner.”

The clarification comes amid viral claims suggesting that Ahan and Jiya were not only dating but might even be considering marriage. Sources close to both actors, however, insist that they share no romantic involvement and are currently occupied with their respective careers.

Ahan, who made his Bollywood debut in 2021 with Tadap, has largely kept a low profile regarding his personal life. His last known relationship was with model and designer Tania Shroff, with whom he shared a long-term bond of nearly 11 years. The two were childhood friends turned partners, often seen together at events and on social media. Their quiet breakup, which happened earlier this year, was kept away from public discussion.

For now, Ahan seems to have shifted his entire focus toward his upcoming projects. Border 2, a war drama, is expected to mark an important step in his acting career.

Meanwhile, Jiya Shankar, known for her roles in Ved and Bigg Boss OTT 2, is busy with multiple digital ventures. The actress has also been linked to actor Paras Arora in the past, though she has never publicly confirmed any relationship.
