Spirit: Not only Prabhas, Triptii Dimri, Sandeep Reddy Vanga's movie momentous even for these star kids

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit has been making news for all reasons. We know the unprecedented buzz around the casting of Korean action star Don Lee, who is very popular in India. Then, we got news that Prabhas might do a Full Monty for a jail scene where Prakash Raj’s character makes him strip for a medical check-up. Now, rumours are coming that Spirit will also be a launch of sorts of two star kids. The names are very closely associated with the Telugu film industry, with their fathers having an enviable legacy of work.

It seems Trivikram Srinivas’ son Manoj Rishie will be an assistant director on the movie. We will also see Mahadhan, the son of Ravi Teja as one of the AD’s. With movies like Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh, Animal and now Spirit, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has established himself as one of the most complete film-makers in India. Trivikram Srinivas himself is one of the top directors of the Telugu film industry with movies like Athadu, Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo, Julayi, Jalsa, Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava under his belt.

Ravi Teja is known as Mass Maharaja and his last release was Mass Jathara. He has been part of many hit movies in his career. He recently spoke about his son Mahadhan Bhupathiraju’s interest to join the movies. He has also worked on Suriya 46 as an AD. Ravi Teja and his wife Kalyani have a son Mahadhan and a daughter Mokshada.

Both in Bollywood and South Indian film industries, we see children of actors, producers and filmmakers enter the industry. Some of them become actors while others choose to be behind cameras. And unlike Bollywood, nepotism in South Indian movies is not talked about as much. Sandeep Reddy Vanga financed his first movie as an outsider by selling off some ancestral land. Over the years, his production house has been taking big risks.
