Something from Mid-Day...I'll read ANYTHING to keep my mind off of the wedding! đ

It isn't unusual to find the city's society chicks at parties sniggering about "those ghastly Hindi TV serials". But given that so many from their own fold are taking on TV-related jobs, sometime soon the sneers will turn seriously politically incorrect.
Not too long ago, Manish Malhotra protge Surily Goel featured on Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, dressing Mona Singh when she made her first televised appearance on the ramp for Sony's popular show. That fashion show was choreographed by Sharmilla Khanna. Before that, Queenie Dhody played a part in repackaging the new, prettier Jassi.
And now that the small screen's big girl is getting married, actress-turned-jeweller Neelam Kothari will provide the baubles. All upmarket enough for pseudo-socialites to end their small-screen snobbery, we think.
