Bollywood over the years has given us some great soundtracks. Films where basically every song is good, but then normally, there is like 2 to 3 songs that sorta steal the limelight, and the rest get overshadowed.

For instance, Yaadein's soundtrack was great, but the three songs that became really popular were Jab Dil Mile, Cham Cham Chamakti Shaam, and the title track.

But my favorite song was the one picturized on the three sisters, Eli Re Eli, which didnt quite get as much recognition.

So which songs come to your mind that didnt quite get the recognition they deserved coz the other songs from the same overshadowed em? 😊

Bhare Naina song from Ra1. I never knew that song existed till I sae Kareena perform on it in some function.

^^^Hmmm...I dont know what you are talking about. I think it was from Filmfare last year. SRK also performed to Chammak Challo in the same event but this song really stood out.

Ai ajnabi from Dil se...

Dil se is a gr8 soundtrack but everyone always only mentions chaiyya chaiyya, dil se re, jiya jale and satrangi re since they all have fancy music videos tht keep getting played on mtv n stuff...

But Ai ajnabi was like wound in the form of a song!!! its the best pathos song ive ever heard in my life and THE best rendition of udit narayan and its my personal fav from the album...but its not quite as recognized and or played in music channels tht often coz its not that "fancy" visually...

total agree!! This is one song which has stuck in my head and is sooo pure in emotions!! One of my all time fave song this is! 😊

One of my most fav. tracks... broken hearts ke liye aise gaane amrit hota hai... always on my listening list... wish ajay could have used this song in diff movie than tezz...

I agree with those who mentioned Dil se..its one of ARR's best works till date..and i have to mention Kehna hi Kya from Bombay..am not sure whether its underrated but the song is an absolute gem..then there is Maula mere le le meri jaan from Chak De..again am not sure whether it was popular cos i always hear people talking about CDI'S title track..from the recent ones, Jee lein zara from Talaash..the song is just so beautiful, i cant believe it isn't popular..

P.S..Desigal-Bebo looks super adorable in that AV of yours..do u have the video?
