😃 Hello MC'ians! 😃

For this festive season of Diwali and Eid, we have brought you a contest that will enhance your creativity and skills to be a lyricist (yes, I said lyricist) and to just have loads of FUN with music and our beautiful language!

Welcome to...

"MC's Diwali and Eid Lyrics Challenge!"

Rules/How To Participate:

* Write lyrics (approximately 8-12 lines but no longer) on EITHER Diwali, Eid, or both festivals! (It's your choice, you can choose either one or write combined lyrics for both festivals)!

* Lyrics must be in (Roman) Hindi and/or Urdu! Unfortunately, we will not accept English lyrics for this particular contest as it's all about culture and festivities!

* All members participating must PM their entries to me (Reema_J) by Saturday night, October 21, 2006! (Please title the PM as MC's Contest or something of the sort so I don't get it mixed up with my other PM's... thanks)!

* One participant can send up to two (2) entries!

* Once all submissions/entries have been received, there will be an anonymous voting poll to determine our runner-up and winner!

* All questions, comments and suggestions may be posted in this thread and we will try to respond as soon as possible!

* Any entries posted in this thread will be disqualified, we need to keep them anonymous to prevent partiality and/or favoritism during voting!

-Looking forward to your participation...

MC Dev. Team!

Yes Saniya, in one song/poem... you can write about both festivals! 😊

You can use both Hindi and Urdu, just not English! (I will edit my post)!
