@Indu: Ha! The PVSM strikes again. That is precisely the point on which I wrote my take and had some detailed discussions with Kirthi, Meena and others! 😃

It is not that Shobha is entirely to blame, or ever was, but if there was anyone who could have turned Prashant around at some point, it was her. And she totally turned her back on any glimmer of hope he ever displayed.

@Samana: I have always felt sort of disoriented whenever Shobha deals with Prashant. Howsoever a child may give you a reason to, a mother never attacks her child's self-worth...and she never throws final decrees when the child turns away. The moment Prashant left the field, the obvious reaction from her should have been a breakdown and not another parting shot against his behavior spoken with a finality...I don't know, maybe I am a different kind of mom...but to me that last frame was an eyesore.

@Indu: Come on Indu how could she have reacted any other way. That guy is a MORON. I thought Shobha reacted the most naturally.
She did try the no-tears calm approach earlier. It did not help her or change Prashanth much.
When there is someone who is already hellbent on doing something destructive how can calm reasoning work for him??

She should have called the police and have had him arrested... but on what ground... does breaking a vase constitute domestic violence???

@Indu: Aww well I'm happy to hear that you are enjoying your downtime now...True Shobha maa is to blame as well but she isn't alone, I think that they all played a role in the way P turned out especially Kaki that's is evident in the way she is with him

Have a goodnight Pal 🤗
