Today Zara's Indira act seemed to suggest that...
Okay, so we had Indu sprawled over the suhaag ki sej. she is very clear about the reasons for Zara's marriage to Rishi Kumar and the reasons for her stay in SN. She has the temerity to use a tone with Zara that seemed to suggest that Zara is her employee. This is perhaps the youngest age at which any living person has developed the acumen to strike a business deal. Of course, child psychologists will correct me and say that children are excellent bargainers and it is us adults who groom them. But daily transactions apart, our Choti Hitler knows what marriage means, what her mother's ailment is, what can really affect Zara, and what she can do to harass her. It's all worked out perfectly. And the best part is, the adults comply! Does anyone know why she cannot be lovingly picked up and deposited outside the room?
Lahorewali seems to be remembering flashes of her early life. But all her memories were around the water bill, Ishaan, and Bournvita. I cannot recall whether Rishi was in any of those memories...does anyone remember? Maybe she'll remember him in future flashes because right now, she remembers ONLY him.
So, as per plan, Zara dresses like Indira and becomes the target of Lahorewali's attacks because even in this state, she treasures that identity of hers. That was perhaps well done. But at the end of all this, I wonder what will happen to Zara. Rishi will support her, but when Indira is fully recovered, then what?
I did not understand what Zara wants from a fully cured and recovered Indira. Is she expecting that once she has recovered, Indira will hand Rishi over and say "Saubhagyavati bhava"? Or is she expecting that Indira will walk away and find her life and happiness outside Sharma Nivas after making her the new Indira Sharma of the household (horrible thought, that).
Anyway, HD's idea of comedy will always remain beyond me. At the end of all that action with the knife, Zara is hurt. She is irreversibly hurt when the physician who bandages her hand suggests that Rishi should have a physical relationship with Lahorewali. That's when I understood why they had paid a guy to come and play this part. At another time, Dettol along with endless eyelocks would have sufficed. But this time, that was sacrificed because a more adult suggestion had to be made by a medical authority.
Of course, the tiresome Indu heard something that was beyond her bachcha brain (for once) and now wants to know all about it. If Zara was shocked at the mere suggestion of physical intimacy between Rishi and Lahorewali, then at the point that Indu entered, both she and Rishi looked as though chaaron khaane chit!
Question: Why is Meher staying in the sasural of her ex sister in law?
