Hey everyone,

Thanks for all the support and encouraging feedback from the previous chapters.. This is the last chapter of this OS.. two reasons for ending here:

1. After baching up CVs for stretching things like a rubber band on this and countless shows, I dont want to follow them.. so best to end at a high note..

2. To be honest, sadly, the couple of episodes and the whole pre-cap and the lack of Arhi romance is starting me.. so, waiting for the CVs to give me some much needed rabba ves to get those creative romance juices flowing

Chapter 11:

Khushi had no idea what she was doing.. Arnav had captured her eyes, he seemed to be caressing her own eyes everytime he twirled her away from him.. only to intensify again when he brought her right back to his chest..

The man danced the way he lived.. with intensity.. he took the lead'he showed her bitter disappointment by moving her away in one twirl, only to bring her right back in his arms, where she belonged as if promising never to send her way..

As they neared the end of the song'. He finished off with the classic dip'and Khushi was very aware of his soft hot breath near the nape of her neck' As the spotlight slowly dimmed out' the entire room burst out in shouts and claps' whistles..

But, Khushi heard nothing but his deep breathing as he held her there for that extra few moments'before landing her back on both feet and slowly leading her off the stage.. Khushi was glad for the support of his arms for she was sure that she was close to fainting from the raw intensity of the dance..

As the next dance performance commenced with Nanij and Buaji.. Arnav saw that Khushi's face was as white as a sheet' and decided to lead her to pool, so that she would get some breathing space instead of being thrust right back into the crowd of guests back in the performance room..

Arnav smiled.."Who am I kidding'" he thought.. "The only reason I brought her here was because this was their little love haven.. the only place where they had been themselves with each other, much before they each had realized the love they felt for the other.."

As he led Khushi to sit down on the chair. He asked her.."Khushi.. tum theek ho? Here, have this glass of water.."

As Khushi gulped down the water and laid it on the table.. she turned to saw Arnav kneel down in front of her.. She looked at him shyly and questioningly at the same time..

Arnav took something out his sherwani pocket' it was her payal..

Where did he get this from now? Thought Khushi

"Khushi, tumhare payal ' it had fallen outside the guest house.. "

As he drew her feet and placed it on his leg, Arnav said "Last time I had returned this payal to you, you had asked me a question..I know I had refused to answer you then, Khushi' But, I know you deserve an answer..I kept the payal with me because it made me feel that you were with me, it made me feel strong, it made me feel loved.. Since returning this payal back to you the last time we were near this pool, I felt that I had lost a part of you.. I know I was the one who pushed you away then, Khushi'" his voice quivered as he said this..

Khushi looked at Arnav, reminded of the last time she had seen him so vulnerable.. the time he thought he had lost his Di..This confident, greek-God of a man, was showing her the same side'

"Arnav.." no ji anymore.. she had earned the right'

"No Khushi, let me finish.. But now, I give you this payal back because I know that I will never lose you again.. I know that because I see that in your eyes Khushi, I feel that in your heartbeat, every touch of yours assures me of that.. I thought after the death of my parents, I would never have it in me to love ever again, for fear of losing the people I love.."

"But, you have shown me Khushi that when you love, you give love unflinchingly, not expecting anything in return, not expecting any promise. That is because you know that your love is strong enough to even withstand pain and hurt'"

"I love you, Khushi.."

"I love you more, mere pyaare Laad Governor" Khushi smiled as she kissed him..
