Really, because it's the Urva fans who've been going on rants about Imam ever since she 'won.'

Look at any pro-Imam threads, they were always about how awesome he is... we rarely brought other contestants up. While others were making threads about how awesome it is to hit someone or how Imam encourages rape 😕

Look I don't care about Urvashi or her brainless fans. I have an axe to grind with Colors TV and I won't let it go.

I'm done arguing with y'all. You're too obstinate to let see things from another perspective. Too narrowminded. Bye, have a great life being a sheep!

Let me preface this by saying, I don't care who won. In fact let's leave Urvashi out of this altogether, I'd rather not talk about her...

ReemAnshu 3 things:

1. You can't deny the fact that producers DECIDE the winner. This is beyond conjecture. If you think that the channel and, in this case, Salman Khan doesn't have a say in who's selected as winner, you're thoroughly misguided. And E&Y didn't audit the votes this year, FYI.
No one can certainly say that producers decide or dont decide winners. If that was the case then the show on each channel will be won by their very own. Like JDJ should have been won by Rashmi or Pratyusha. I dont say that what you say cannot be true, it may or may not. But since there is no proof, I (personally) choose to believe otherwise. You may believe what you want. This year too they had an audit Firm, if I correctly recall it was E&Y or a big firm, I have 100% seen it in the end credits. Plus an audit is mandatory. If Salman had to pick, why not Niketan or Sana ? He had better tuning with them ? If you say that would be obvious then again big assumption.

2. I don't think traditional mainstream audiences would vote for someone who is divorced, crass and smokes. By your logic Delnaaz should have been winner, she was playing the abla-naari track well.
I'd also like to add at this point, don't project your own worldviews onto Indian audiences or draw sweeping conclusions from the 4-5 people you spoke with. Imam could have been a villain to them, a comedian to them, entertaining to them. If his performance didn't appeal to the masses, he would not have come in second place.
Well the audience would see Urvashi as a strong headed, straightforward single mom, who is raising 2 grown-up kids on her own and by the looks of it given them darn good values. It is this image of nari shakti which takes over the others, she was also being promoted by the bollywood crowd at large due to this image.
These views are mine (since its my post) but as I said I have a vast experience of market research, due to some limitations I wont brag about my work-ex but trust me 13 years is long. And my sample size was a large one (although in Mumbai) but was a good indicator. There is some thing called sampling and demographics which I am very good at. But again not all sampling or research could be 100% accurate and so it again left to your choice or mine as to what we believe.

3. Third, realize that most of us are angry at the channel. I don't care about who won. But I'm going to keep voicing my opinion against Colors TV's decision because it was unfair. They never spoke out against Imam's mistreatment in the house, even though they're supposed to be this socially conscious channel. As an audience I feel cheated the rightful winner wasn't given the prize and disgusted that their own prejudices play such a big role in selecting the winner.
You have every right to be angry at the channel. So am I, only our reasons are different as we are different people. Your bone could be with the decision of the winner, mine is that just for cheap TRP why did they bring a guy like Imam on the show and then when he gave a trailer of his conduct in village house, why was he brought back in the house ? If only the channel had looked beyond TRP. But mind you there is a difference between generating TRP and encashing TRP. Although Imam did bring in the TRP with his antics, does not necessarily mean that he brought the highest votes.
In the end what can I say, you feel robbed that Imam did not win and I feel that Urva deserved it and won fair n square. We can always agree to disagree.

My appreciation for a good pointwise reply without being nasty. My comments above in Red.
