Double standards?

Ever since Purvi's pregnancy secret has been outed, there have been a lot of posts bashing Purvi on the forum. It takes two hands to clap, two to tango, yet the recriminations are all against her, not against Arjun. Is it because even in this day and age, she is a female and therefore has to bear the brunt of blame, however unfairly?

As much as I blame Purvi, I hold Arjun responsible too.

Yes Jahnvi, how much ever we may talk about equality, its always the woman who is blamed and not the man. Woman are the easy targets, wonder when will this change.

good post dear.. even i wanted to open a thread on it but couldnot.. thanks alot for this thread.. only purvi is not responsible for her situation.. even arjun is at guilt.. and more people say she can take a pill and avoided the pregnancy.. lol.. the condition she was in after her the marriage was not the time she can think of all those i guess.. then later the soham tension might have made her forget about taking a pill.. i dont think any girl in that state can think about it...

i am not bashng purvi to had sex wid arjun befre marriage,i blme her aftr wat she did,she frced arjun to marry ovi,i cant evn imagine my ex bf marrying my sistr,aftr knwing she is pregnantmshe cld hav tld people,and arovi marriage wld hav been broken easily,but she insisted arjun to sleep wid ovi too,wich is cheap.

Arjun is of course as responsible ..The reason why I am angry with Purvi is because I think ( in my opnion ) that she betrayed the trust that her mother had in her ...

yeah everybody busy to blame purvi but both had equal faults ,
